I read a previously topic and it did mention about the question i am hacking, but the topic was kind of old so i post a new one. Here is the answer that I found:

Well a health bar will still have a value attached to it in a variable somewhere in ram, however it is an unknown variable. so you will have to start a search as an unknown value. Then you need to make the bar go down, then search for a 'less than' value, then repeat and search for a 'less than' value again.

You should then be able to start pin pointing the variables address from your search results just as you would for number of lives etc.

WiiRD will spot values that have changed and lowered, but as its unknown searching its more time consuming and expect to be poking more results.

My question is:

I'm gonna use Need For Speed UnderCover. I was trying to hack for the car damage bar. Each time you slip or hit any cars, corner, etc... the bar goes down. So I was hacking at 80 range, 90 range, etc... When I poke, nothing happen. Even if it end up with just one codes. I'm able to hack for the money and stuff, but not the energy bar. This is how I hack (Correct me if I'm hacking wrong): Start off full bar, i set to 80 range, unknown value, equal. When I get hit I set equal to less than. When mission failed and stage is restarting; I set less than to greater than because the bar went back up. This process takes about 5min to come down to a 5 or 1 codes. I try and poke them and nothing happen... am I doing something wrong?

Check in the memory viewer whether the value resets to its old value even after you poke it.  If it reverts, then it's being overwritten by something else, and you might try NOPing the opcode you get when you do a write BP on the address.

Also, once you have 1 code, does it disappear from the list after another 5-6 tries?  If so, then you probably don't have the right value to begin with.

Think ive already done that, but percent display and "gravity" is a totally different thing, Link has already found the real code for percent namely defense or something like that.
If someone helped you press the thank you button.
