I follow Sameoman's youtube guide to a t but when I get to the part when it's ready to install the channel, I get a failure message and it says that I have Wii Menu 353 and that it's only been tested on Wii Menu 290 and further down it says "ES_AddTicket failed: -2011"  I'm very new to all this and I just want to know if there's any way around this, or if I'm just screwed because I updated my Wii recently.

What firmware version are you using?  If you updated after October 23, you will need to install the Beta 9 version of the Homebrew Channel.  You can download it from the link below...

If you have updated to 3.4, you will currently not be able to install the Homebrew Channel, as all versions of the Twilight Hack no longer work.  If you have not updated to this firmware, I would highly recommend that you continue to NOT do so.

Luckily, theres a beta 0.2 version you can use if you did update to v3.4, but once you turn your Wii off, it will be deleted, Wiibrew has instructions on how to use it and what its circumstances are.
