i have a quick question about the "Catalog Complete (Temp)" code. Does that mean it doesnt save the full catalog? Because im the type who doesnt want to have a full catalog (by cheating) but i feel like ordering a couple things i dont have in there already.
dont reach limits, break them!

Hello, I'm new !
Sorry for my bad english but I'm french...

Also not a code, but a new gamesave editor for NPCs (with special support for USBGecko/WiiRD users)

More info here: http://aibohack.com/wii/npc_tool.htm
Change the character type (one of 210 canned characters), change the name and catchphrase.
Also allows you to change the "texture map" bitmap to invent brand new characters, or mutilate the existing ones ;->

I tryied this yesterday, and its works great for neighbors, personnality and houses...
BUT the name don't change (I want Rosie and Bob (Robert in french), but name is Deena and Peewee).

It's a PAL version.

WTF ?

DsPet

> BUT the name don't change (I want Rosie and Bob (Robert in french), but name is Deena and Peewee).
Change the "Prototype" to Bob and Rosie. They will use the default names (for all 7 languages). For French: Rosie and Robert.
http://www.aibohack.com/wii/npctut8.jpg
Don't change the "Name" or "Catchphrase". That feature only works for English (currently)

Djidos

> That feature only works for English (currently)
Only for NTSC version, or PAL in english language ?

So, I changed prototype Deena and Peewee to Rosie and Bob, but only names don't change. All rest is good.

Is it possible to make a code that can edit your town so you can select which animals you want living in your town?

we all know that after a period of time, the grass begins to die in places where you run/walk the most.  is it possible to make a code to rejuvenate all the grass so there are no more dirt paths?

much appreciated.

I think it is NTSC english only. There is another English slot. The next version (.3a) will include a feature to set the multi-language names and catch phrases.

> Is it possible to make a code that can edit your town so you can select which animals you want living in your town?
Possible but unlikely.
Please try the NPC_Tool program (it lets you set the NPC neighbors immediately)

Well, since DsPet was so kind as to point me to the starting point of where, in active memory is where the 'save data' starts, I decided I'd point this out for USB Gecko owners;

Note: This should work with no ill effect, but keep a backup ready just in case; Aside from Virus's ACToolkit tool complaining about an incorrect checksum, everything matches how it should be in the editor. (Also, I should note that, whenever I've tried to move one building, even one spot, save, and quit, it's given me a corrupted file error, but that was without using Virus's tool, I have yet to test with it.) (It worked fine for me when dumping, editing, and uploading, though)
dump rvforest.dat 90e26be0 91235f20
upload rvforest.dat 90e26be0 91235f20

Also, uploading takes forever; Like, 30 seconds.
Edit: Also, of small note, posted message board data starts around $90E8E418

Edit 2: Since people have asked, they shall receive.

(Note: Must save, quit, and play again for following code effects to be noticed)

will the resotre grass code work without a usb geko or wiird? and will it make it grassy wehen it should be snowy?
Yes it works without usb gecko/wiird and no it doesn't change the grass color, it only covers in the dead spots with grass (and revives all other grass to full life).

@ theBlueBird: I don't know what to tell you, I suppose you could just use the dump and upload location in my last post and use Virus's tool instead, since editing is just as quick with a more advanced editor.

Since I haven't seen this code yet...

Editor's Note: Requires a button activator, add it yourself.

Edit 2: For those of you who like pointless stuff; (It's in Unicode format, so the letter A would be 0041)

(Along with having yellow text instead of white, this DOESN'T work for Wi-Fi; Harmless obviously, since all invalid characters just give a black box with a ? inside.)
