just look at the pictures.

If you look at the values I am talking about there are no pictures (just green)

> I would do it myself but I dont have my ACCF copy yet -.-
My advice: wait till you have the game, and use the next release of ACToolkit (it has an acre editor).
When you see the acre types that are already in your town, it will make more sense.
(if you have a USB Gecko, you can examine the values directly)

> If you look at the values I am talking about there are no pictures (just green)
Cobble stone (where buildings are normally placed) are not *currently* displayed. Experiment. Even if the preview images looks the same (eg: all green) the actual acres will be different because of placement of cobble stone.
If you care if the cobblestone matches up exactly with the right building type, experiment with them. There are official places on each acre where each building should go (this is not in the AC:CF version, yet).
But IMHO you are missing half the fun: the ability to place buildings, rocks and trees in places they aren't meant to be (eg: buildings on bridges, Nook's in the corner of a mountain, etc)

LOL i shortened your codes.... a ton
Not sure exactly what you did considering I'm no expert with codes types but....they made my game freeze.
Probably because his code overwrites both the 'is gone' data and the 'what the item is' data. Since he probably didn't bother to look that the game formats it as (item)(sold or not)(item)(sold or not) etc.

Also, did some minor correcting to the nook modifier based off of Nookingtons:

Edit: Note, for the Paper, the ones listed on AbioHack are for 1-quantity sheets, add 1, 2, or 3 to the value abiohack gives you to get 2, 3, and 4 sheets respectively. (Ex: Halloween paper = 9740, which is one piece, if you wanted 4, you'd make it 9743.)

I updated the furniture code:

9061000C 83E1001C
60000000 00000000

If you are using an older version of the code, I would recommend you update.  A number of issues with the code were fixed.

I'm having a problem with this code. When I put it in, it makes my house size return to its original unchanged size (before upgrades). I want to use this code though because it allows you to steal almost any item, including carpets and stuff like that from stores - unlike the other code that i found through youtube which does not allow carpets/items like that to be taken. Do you have a fix for this? Or is there another version of this code that works properly that i do not know about (that still allows the character to pick up virtually any item?)?

Quote from: theBLUEBIRD on December 02, 2008, 08:01:01 PMI got 2 players, and when I activate this code, there seem to be an error with the players houses. When I play as character 2 it changed the house of character 1 to the second characters house! Meaning, both players house have the same items and stuff.. Is it some conflict when overrunning the games internal blockades when using multiple players?

Sorry about that, this updated code should work properly:

And other issues.
IMHO this code (in several different forms) is more trouble than it is worth. It is trying to trick the game into doing something that it wasn't meant to. It looks like people are still finding new side-effects.

If you want a particular item, there is no reason to steal it from a villager. It isn't a permanent change anyway.
There is an easy (and safe) code to add an item to your inventory. Any item you can steal from a villager you can make for yourself (and make many of them if you like). For more elaborate customization, use the ACtoolkit map editor.
If you want money, use the easy and safe item codes to create Royal Crowns, and sell them to Nook.
Well you are entitled to your own opinion, but that doesn't mean that I agree with you...
(BTW, all the issues so far are because of the game reusing code in ways that I didn't anticipate; any issues are extremely easy to fix)

Quote from: DsPet on December 02, 2008, 09:07:48 PMIMHO: tricky 'codes' have their place, usually to show off. If you don't want to deal with the hassles, stick with the tried-and-true methods.
It IS a tried-and-true method that I am using.  This game is just structured in a way that makes it difficult to create codes that always work properly.  Why do you think so many of the other codes for AC:CF give save data corruption errors and cause other problems?
