this is just to continue the thread from the old forum and keep the error documented.

i get a "checksum mismatch packet 12aab" when extracting dvds with the wasabi v1 (old and 1.2beta firmware).

the resulting isos are exactly 4697640960 bytes in size, so they are some megabytes too small.

it seems the wasabi is preventing access to the last sectors of the disc.

i also tried to use dvd extraction via a http server on a modified IOS37, but it also results in a sector read error at exactly the same position.

it does not matter which game i try, and its always at the same position.

if someone with a wasabi v1 does NOT have this error please post here so we can find out whether its a general wasabi problem or not.
if someone with another modchip does have exactly the same error please also post.

maybe we find the reason by just looking at who has exactly the same error and finding similarities

Chipflip

Problems Ripping games with D2Pro9 chip Via HTTP method. Every game only downloads 365MB and that's it. i have the newest FW 2.3 sli1.6 on the chip and a D2C drive chip. also having problems loading games and ejecting disks i think i might have a faulty chip.
