No problem, my pointer searcher application found 10 working pointers + 2200 pointer in pointers, so had quite a bunch to choose from :) :)

Is this seperate from the pointer searcher in WIIRD??? if so do you have a link or something to this program??

most likely moon jumps pointer location is also buggy, since that location seems to have value of 00000000 on my savegames.

The moonjump code doesn't want to work, does it work with Ocarina?

I guess it doesnt work with Ocarina right now, someone will have to change it a little I think in order for it to work,it works fine with WIIRD though, but I need to change it to a button combo code, its making some places impossible to get through......what special code do I need to add to make this a combo code like A+B equals moon jump??? Anyone know?? This game is wearing me out trying to figure out these codes...LOL.. :-[

Oh fudge, I was looking forward to killing Lara in so many other ways with a moonjump lolo. Good luck with your work thoughhh!

I have a similar pointer search tool, but i don't know yet if it works on wii, its a psp application for multi level pointers.

Also, I still use the z-co-ordinates generally, coz there is a lot of ways to NOT change them where you can search equal. With the jump method though, try like moving around the ground, searching equal, going into menus, searching equal, do all that kind of stuff to filter out the bad results.

Also for A+B you look at you're button table thing (this was on another thread somewhere can't remember)

GCN Wii Clasic
L 0001 L 0001 U+ 0001
R 0002 R 0002 L+ 0002
D 0004 D 0004 Zr 0004
U 0008 U 0008 X  0008
Z 0010 + 0010 A  0010
R 0020 2 0100 Y  0020
L 0040 1 0200 B  0040
A 0100 B 0400 Zl 0080
B 0200 A 0800 R  0200
X 0400 - 1000 +  0400
Y 0800 Z 2000 -  1000
S 1000 C 4000 L  2000
D+ 4000
R+ 8000

And add the 2 numbers together

If you look at the address 8067BED8 in the memory viewer and press A it will go from 00000000 to the value I set it at,but the whole code probably does need some adjusting...after all it is my first attempt ever at creating a jump code... :D

Yeah,Z Co-ordinates still needs to be added to this code as well,so you can move forward and backwards while in the air...so this isnt truly a real "Moon Jump" code yet.....

You should totally try and get the moonjump code to work for Ocarina, i'd love you long time! Just a suggestion! *flee*

Hopefully some better coders on here will come up with a good code...I am still a beginner on these kind of codes.. :-[ I dont use ocarina (except for on Zelda TP) so I dont know what would cause this not to work...maybe its the way it handles the memory address' could be slightly different...

Its nothing to do with ocarina, since it doesnt even work on Wiird, as the jump code pointer location changes between loads too. The button activator line does work yes, and the end line, but the value that is written in specific location only works on your savegame, or the time that the game happens to load it on the same memory location, ie you need to find the location again (or calculate the offset of your currently working location vs unlimited health), and then make offset to stable pointer, ie you can use the same pointer that unlimited health uses + offset to jump location.

shark2003

To find your jumping height address, try searching for greater than C2000000 while jumping as in the air as high as you can go and pausing. Here is an example of some of the values that I saw after jumping and pausing several times.

C24500ED
C217163D
C2002E57
C20027A8

So...how come on my game it keeps loading to the same place without using a pointer?? I have quit the game re-started went to more stages and even re-started new games and it still works without needing a pointer..?? BTW I am using WIIRD for my codes. I posted some of the jump values to search on if someone wants to make a better/good code, but mine seems to be working fine using WIIRD.
***Update*** Jump Codes and Inf Health are working with Ocarina for me also***

I know this may seem an inappropriate question, but are you using the full version of the game? Or have you used brick blocker or some other kind of memory changing tool on it? Other than that, there's not a lot I can think of...

Did you try setting a breakpoint on you're code anyway? You could get a more permanent area with that, and if you need help changing the asm there into you're moon jump code you can just ask, I'd be willing to help in order to get this code working for everyone.
