Problem Mortal Kombat US Vers. on Eu Wii

Hi folks,
seems like the us-version of mortal kombat armageddon doesn?t work on my eu wii (3.3) with gecko os 1.06. I tried every option but still the game crashes. After showing an ingame screen where all possible controllers are presented the screen turns black... and keeps on being black - and well.. the controller light turns off :eek:.

Does anyone know a way to get the game running?

hey there. my advice to you would be to get a few different region free apps on your sd card, and try each one and see if one is the ticket. besides the one you already have i would suggest going on to the homebrew channel website, and dowloading the gecko region free app they have there its made by the same guy(s) as geckoOS1.6, but its a bit different its called gecko region free 1.5 (just load it onto your sd card in the apps folder), besides that their is also a program called menu loader, which you can also use. you can download it here

and again put it in a folder in your apps folder (just incase you have any trouble, rename this .dol file to boot.dol  and put it into a folder called menu loader)

anyway, hope this helps buddy. i have about 4 different region free apps at the moment, but i can play all my imported games.... so far.


ps. the instructions i gave you are assuming that you are running the homebrew channel on your wii.  goodluck!
