I was at dinner and heard the explosion just a couple blocks away.

Plan is to leave Bangkok on Saturday. Until then, I pretty much need to stay inside. =S

PS: Military is EVERYWHERE.

"Three grenades exploded at a train station"
uh WTF

Yeah.

Seems like it's starting to escalate too. It could die off right now and be quite; you never know.

I'm staying about 4 blocks from where that happened, and where tons of "Red shirt" protesters are. There's also a some opposing "yellow shirts" and then there's the military and swat everywhere.
Seriously, I look out my window and the parking garage across the street is packed with military looking down/around.

Deathwolf

have you seen the persons die?  that is terrible terrible terrible :-[

I saw a fresh corpse in Vietnam from traffic.

Just woke up to the sound of 3 or 4 explosions followed by gunshots.
The soldiers in the parking garage across the street were up in a scurry putting on their flack vests.
Spotlights on the buildings and sounds like helicopters...

Deathwolf
