Hello, anyone having issues with the ArcRise Fantasia?

I own an USA Wii v4, and the game region is Japanese.
I am using v1.9.1 of Gecko OS.
No cheat codes.
When I try to load the game, all I get is first a green screen, and after that it goes black.
At that point the only thing I can do is power down the Wii.
I have tried setting by default the language in Japanese, and not enabling any codes.
I don't know what other settings might be worth to play with.
I tried the rebooter option as well, but I don't think it works on the v4 of the Wii...

Any other ideas?  :confused:

Are you able to check somehow if there's another .dol than the main.dol on the disc? At least the (very) old Gecko OS had some problems with games that used another .dol than the main.dol.

You could try this Gecko OS mod:
http://wiibrew.org/w/images/7/7d/Open-Source-Gecko-OS.zip

It's a little more compatible than the original 1.07b Gecko OS. If that works, it would be easy to add the necessary fixes to the latest version.

*Edit: It would of course more help if you would test the original 1.07b Gecko OS too.

Thanks. I do not know the whole history of the Gecko SW, but I thought the latest version should work as well...  :-\
In any case, I tried with Gecko OS 1.07b and it works.

Did you try the original Gecko OS, or my mod of it? And do you have a modchip by chance and is the game patched in any way?

No modchip. No patched game.
I used version 1.07b from this page http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Gecko_os , at the bottom under downloads.
