&& the on-the-fly character swap code causes the match to end and the opponent to automatically win right when I input any of the button combinations.

Hmm, Emerald codes worked fine on my Friend's Wii but on mine, I was Emerald Marth, had Yellow G&Ws icon and the game hung on a black screen when I ended the match : /

Edit: I'm wondering, could the fact that the codelist is so long attribute to this at all? Cause I didn't have such a long list back when I used it on my friend's Wii

That happens if you only have two players as it removes your character from the game which makes it think you are dead. Try it with three people on :)

With Emerald costume, the problem lies in the fact that there is no Emerald icon. Therefore, the code:

4A000000 90180F20
1000009D 0001000C
E0000000 80008000

Should be:

4A000000 90180F20
1000009D 0000000C
E0000000 80008000

Sorry if this wasn't clear. The 1 indicates it fills the last byte two times (0 + 1) at adress 9D, meaning it will also write to 9E, which is the character portrait modifier.

especially since there's no box for player-1 on the result screen.

Also, the Emerald (Great Maze) color, is it just like an animated texture or something?

I'd love to be able to "lock" it on the Aqua color ^^


Edit: I'm also currently going through all characters with Emerald to see which ones it does not work with. So far I know Peach, Sonic and Jigglypuff do not.

We can't 'Create' textures for the game so no

Until a method is found to load textures from an SD card (If even possible, it's unlikely) there won't ever be one. Unless the Emerald textures are somehow coded and not actual textures O.o

Last time I tried, I was able to have a 1 vs 1 vs 1 match with emerald Link, dark Link, and regular Link.

^i'd automatically assume there's no emerald texture for Toon Link, Wolf, or Jigglypuff since you never fight an emerald version of them in subspace.

By the way, the Mushroomy Kingdom music-reset code doesn't work.
Luigi's mansion worked like a charm, but when i tried the mushroomy kingdom music restoration code,
right when Ocarina booted the game, it says, "please insert super smash brothers brawl game disc."
and the screen freezes that way. :(

I tried it like 3 times and got the same result. (yes my disc is inserted lmao)

Seems if you use Emerald Samus' Final Smash, you get locked in that Glowy orb and never transform into Zamus, Game also freezes once it ends haha

Also, the Emerald colors don't work on Giga Bowser or Wario Man themselves, but if you use Emerald on Bowser or Wario you CAN transform into their special forms (They're just normal colors)

Emerald Peach,Ice Climbers and Zelda worked for me.Peach,I am not really sure,but Zelda works flawlessly.

Popo's eyes are weird in Emerald color,tho.He has the right,but when you get the FS it's like they become his normal eyes.

For the texture modifier code: is there a list of all of the textures? Or is it a crap shoot? In general, just some instructions on the code please.

Zelda I've realized works fine. Ice Climbers I'll test again. Peach I'll test again as well.

The Texture Swap takes the texture off ANOTHER character thats IN THE MATCH.

For example, if you were playing a match of Mario vs Luigi, you can't place Bowser's texture onto Luigi, you would only have the option of placing Mario's texture onto Luigi.
