problem when running Okami on JAP wii

my wii's firmware is now 3.3J
and i run the Okami through region free
when i see the game menu
it cant detect the nunchuk@@
i'm sure my nunchuk works fine

is it gecko region free's problem @@?
anyone has the same problem as i do?
because okami in the compatibility list is ok

Is it a pal or US version?

I tried Pal one on my japanese Wii (3.3) with gecko os (not the last version) and the game worked, not perfectly (50Hz) but it worked.

US copy for me running on a PAL Wii, via GeckoOS. It seems to run absolutely perfectly, including refresh rate.

How can I tell if the refresh rate has dropped?
