Will Gecko OS bypass the Wii's Firmware

Say there is a game that requires the newest 3.4 firmware, and i'm running 3.3u.  Will I be able to play a game that requires 3.4 FW using Gecko OS?

many games will work.. for some games however you're required to at least install its IOS file to play them!

So as an example, if I had an import copy of the new animal crossing game (which requires 3.4 firmware) and I still have the 3.3u FW, there's a chance it should work?

yes! For Animal Crossing you need to install IOS38 as far as I can see but then you should be done!
