Hello all,

I have a MoH Heroes 2 NTSC-US which I desperately try to run on a EUR console (version 3.4 I think).
I have GeckoOS 1.6f - when I load the game it shows up that warning screen about the Wii Jacket and all and then everything freezes up. The led-s on the Wiimote blink (all four of 'em) when I press any button. I can only turn off the console ?
I tried forcing NTSC, PAL50, PAL60... Same thing.
I also have OrderUp ! (same region) which runs perfectly with no additional settings.

Are there special issues with this particular game ?

kenobi

Well it works fine for me, 3.2E.
Used GeckoOs 1.07, rebooter, default settings.

Can you verify your firmware version ?

jollyca

my fw is 3.3E - i remember I had to upgrade because homebrew would not install othrwise.

Should I downgrade ? CAN I downgrade ?

naed

all you need is the newest version of Gecko OS (version 1.07) this will work with it no probs

infact i was looking for codes for this game last night... maybe there are still some hidden extra's somewhere

Let's clear out the confusion, shall we ? :)
http://www.usbgecko.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1057 - here's my other topic describing the problem. It's for another game but now it seems it's the same problem for both.

Nuke

jollyca, do you have a USB Gecko and can make a dump of the ram?

i initially had problems with medal of honour but with the new version of gecko os i'm able to hook no problems. I have to use the rebooter but it hooks and i have no issues after this. Purpose it could be different as i'm using a usb gecko

Nuke

Well it should run with rebooter, and the Region free option selected in the rebooter options.

I know it should. And it ****es me off. Everybody can run it, evb says "well, you know, worked for me". Are there some issues with the 3.3E firmware ? Ppl said it worked for them with the 3.2E fw

i'm currently running on 3.2e so that could be the issue your having.. You could try downgrading.

I'll upgrade to version 3.3e to test if i have any issues and post back this evening

*update*
just tested and have no compatability issues at all.. sorry i can't help any more as i have no idea why your version of MoH does not boot with gecko os
