Hello all. I've recently been using the GeckoOS to play my import GC games on the wii (im waiting to get some import wii games). All my imports work except (you guessed it) Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4. I get as far as the main menu then I get an error message. The game boots fine, but as soon as I press start to go to the menu an error message ALWAYS appears. I tried using the newest GeckoOS (September 17th 2008) but the game gave me the same problem. I believe Naruto 3 gives me the same problem too. I'm guessing there's something with the games thats not enabling me to play them. Someone Please Help. (Also i have the 3.3u update, but as i'm aware, it shouldnt make a difference)

If it's anything like the 'Cube error (where if you tried playing it with the Freeloader on the 'Cube), try ejecting the disc BEFORE you press start on the title screen. Then put it back in and press start, you SHOULD be able to get past the title screen and to the main menu and can play the game.

If it isn't this, don't know what the problem is (not me at least, Nuke might know)

You're my hero right now. I just tried the method you explained and it worked perfectly. I thought i'd never be able to play my game again. I was wondering though, why does the error occur? You don't have to answer if you don't want to, I don't want to waste your time =P Thanks again. Really, THANK YOU

I was told that the reason it does this is because I guess the 'Cube tries to read if it's an American disc so, the error that you get is "Disc cannot be read" in Japanese. When you eject the game BEFORE you press start on the Title Screen you're telling the 'Cube that there is a disc that can be read and you're reinserting it so it rereads it and you can press start and play the game.

It was like this on the Gamecube if you used an AR Freeloader or Freeloader in general, I believe it's only for the Gekitou Ninja Taisen! games on GCN (not the Wii ones). It's a weird error but, the solution is an easy fix.
