One switch I tried was putting Port Town Aero Dive's 12th song (Mach Rider (Melee)) in Big Blue, replacing its 2nd song (Mute City (Melee)).

That would look like this if I'm not mistaken
4A000000 9017EBCC
14000720 000003C8
E0000000 80008000

And yes, it NTSC ^_^
that looks right to me. the numbers are added up right. maybe the problem is you deleted one of them and then you can't change the only song left 0.o other than that i would try using the code, turning off you wii, and then loading without codes and see if it works. dont go to my music until you're not using cheats.

orochijes

Still no luck...
If I were to try the music reseter, it would at least put the music back to normal I guess.
Maybe I'll try taking off my costum stages that go past the block limit by a big margin...I don't know.

Your offset is wrong.
The Music number is wrong too.

It is 2810 for mach rider.

The songs go from 26F9 to 282E
it is impossible for anything like 03C8 to exist.
Where did you get it from?

4A000000 9017EBCC
14000726 00002810
E0000000 80008000

Thats the proper code.
The game is trying to place a song since there is nowhere to place the song.
Music Modifier [Phantom Wings]
4A000000 9017EBCC
1400XXXX 0000YYYY
E0000000 80008000

XXXX = Stage Offset + (Song # - 1) * 8
YYYY = Song to Replace with

So, if you wanted to change the eleventh song
on the Halberd to another song, then you
would just make:

   Stage offset for the Halberd
    \
XXXX = 268 + (B - 1) * 8
          ^B = 11 in Hex

XXXX = 268 + A * 8
XXXX = 268 + 50
XXXX = 318

So your code would be:

4A000000 9017EBCC
14000318 0000YYYY<-- Insert New song here.
E0000000 80008000

I am curious as to where you got those numbers for the music. 3C0 does not exist.

Oh, now I see my problem. Thank you:irule:
I was using the stage offset thing to find songs for YYYY, when your only supposed to use that method for XXXX.
May I ask what thread you found that song list in?

Anyway, I got the stage offsets directly from the first post in the SSBB code thread, so it not wrong. Also, isn't your math a little off..?

Quote from: Shadowlink84;10419718 + (02 -1) * 8=726

In Hexadecimal, which is of course what the codes use, there are six more decimals to take into account (A,B,C,D,E and F), so adding 8 to 718 would not work like it usually would

Normal math:
718+8=726

Hexadecimal:
718+8=720 (six less than normal)

I used two different online hexadecimal calculators I found on google to check my answers here, and both came out to be 720

That's right, but you should rather multiplicate instead of adding when there's the symbol for multiplicating.

EDIT: Nevermind, you should multiplicate the number from the brackets and then add it to the first number. stupid me.

(Codes used here are NOT mine, and in case you can't notice, we made Ike with CF's moveset and Luigi's with ZSS's)

Having fun with Hiyoko in the HRC. I love hacking :)

Naraku2000

wait, isn't it possible reading the SD card slot now while using Ocarina with the new GeckoOS+Ocarina-update? wouldn't there be a bit hope for us non-WiiRD-users?

Cooler 101

Question: Does emerald work on move swapped characters? I know it wouldn't work on the characters you get later in the game.

Bigman40

Sadly, I just read that you can't use the Texture Hacking code on the other thread. Is their any particular reason why? I'm guessing that the length of the code is too big, but is there another reason to it?

when I tried with Pikaman/Pikadorf/whatever you wanna call it, it worked, but the texture was metallic silver. :P

What 'choo mean? Everybody can use Gecko OS, you don't need WiiRd for it or the USB Gecko. =\

Unless, I misunderstood your question in which, please clarify.

It's because Ocarina lacks an upload .bin file function, which is what is needed in order to load the custom textures you made from the computer. WiiRd has this function but, Ocarina does not, not even the Gecko OS + Ocarina does.

Hippochinfat

Someone HAS to update Ocarina so we can do that. Seriously.
