Wii fit scrolling/flashing

I have an NTSC wii and i'm trying to play a pal wii fit.  I've tried using gecko os to play the game and it sortof works but not really.  The game is working but the picture on the screen continously scrolls from the top to bottom very quickly making it look like its flashing.  It makes it impossible to actually play since you can barely see whats happening.

Does anyone know what i could be doing wrong?

Maybe your TV don't support PAL properly ? Do any other pal game work ?
Also did you try force pal60 ?
