Need help with gecko!

OK i added the text to the gecko thing on my computer. Next i want to homebrew and started up gecko and then i hit the game starter thing than it said ''no hook''
Than it said "no codes activated" idk why? can someone help me?

Please be more clear as to what else you've done procedure-wise. This is fairly vague and we'll require more information to help you.
