Wii fit and other games that use system time and date

This is a common problem with Gecko OS. When you boot Wii fit or other games that use the system date, the time and date will be incorrect.

This can be avoided, by loading GeckoOS boot.elf file directly from Zelda TP hack.

It seems the date problem is due to being launched from the Homebrew Channel, so please use the TP method if having this problem.

Is there any way to do this by launching it without the TP hack?  I'm too lazy to put in TP and load it every time.

I wonder if making a wad for region free directly could solve the problem.
I don't know how to create wads anyway.

I noticed that games are always launched in english.
would it be possible to include multi langage ?

explanation :
I'm french, I have a us wii. I can set up my wii to show french menus (thanks to quebec)
some us games are in french (super paper mario, super mario galaxy) and when I use region free to play euro games, they all are in english.

would it be worth looking at the news channel? i only just loaded it for the first time today (6 months) and it asked, is xx/xx/xxxx the correct date+time, so there's hopefully something that sticks out like dogs balls on where it got the info from in the first place?

In the options you should be able to set the language for the games.

what about a temporary workaround to set the Date/Time for the game in the options of Gecko OS or something like this?
I don't know if this is possible or easily done though (I mean: It could be easier and probably to just release an updated version of HBC).

i don't think there is a workaround, the code needs to be found and added into Gecko OS. I don't own Wiifit either or would plan to buy it when there is a solution already out.

The time issue is resolved in Gecko OS 1.06e+ - use Gecko OS 1.07a!
