My girlfriend had to write a poem, so she wrote one about Left 4 Dead.  Being gamers, I thought some of you might appreciate this...

We’ve heard of a sickness on the news
“It’s too late now, so here’s what to do
Go to these e-vac centers, and they’ll take care of you”
We go to the center, climbed 30 flights of stairs
We get to the top, and nobody’s there
They saw us, and left us
To fend for ourselves
Grab a weapon and head into hell

These creatures are real
The infection has spread
If we don’t fight back, then we’ll end up dead
Hide in the safe house
Write on the wall
“It’s not a flu, God help us all”
Fight through the hoards and the special infected
Because of CEDA - how they left us unprotected
This isn’t the end, we’ll be saved soon
We’ve had so much contact, I think we’re immune

We are the survivors
Just each other to thank
We must stick together
To bring down the tank
The zombies attack us, it is such a shame
I hope that the military doesn’t do the same
They think that we’re carriers
I already saw
What they did to those people who wrote on the wall

Contact the rescue
Time to escape
Take some pills, ‘cause we’re in bad shape
We get to the chopper
Still firing lead
This is what it’s like to be left 4 dead

Dude

Congratulate your girlfriend from me!

Being a survival horror/zombie game lover and a bit of a poet myself, I enjoyed reading that  :D
