Playing USA Brawl on Japanese wii

im having trouble playing usa brawl on a japanese wii. It shows the wrist strap thingo but after the now loading screen it comes up with a white screen with green text saying an error has occured please eject the disc. I have tried taking the disc out cleaning it then restarting it but it doesnt seem to work. I havent got the japanese IOS installed on my wii and i think this is the problem and as i live in asutralia i am unable to obtain the ios update for my wii. (dont want to waste money getting another copy of brawl just for the ios update) is there anyway to get this to work? i heard there is a ios patcher out there but can anyone comfirm that it works?

The USA brawl does run on a Jap console, and yes it installs IOS36 among others.

sorry to mention. There is a WAD Manager which can install WAD files. WAD files are container files that are found on the the update partition of the game and are installed if required by the game. WAD files can be IOS files, system files, channels.

so in otherwords. Since i dont have the IOS36 and i cant update using the SMBB USA version. I should get a program called Wad Manager and download IOS36 and install it with the Wad Manager? IF so where do i find this IOS36 wad file?
