Is Gecko OS channel Official?

Nes-hacks claim to have a link from the old forums stating that there is a Official Gecko OS Channel BETA that was made by nuke im not sure if this is real or not but the source is linked to a post on the old forums so idk if its true or not.

and how the heck do i fix the "No DVD" error on the latest Version of Gecko OS? im really desperate to play brawl.

do you have a chip?

If so, you may be having the unresponsive chip issue, because it only calls for the disk once, it takes up to 10 goes for the drive to kick into action.

HOWEVER the wii menu does multi disk checks. so get the LATEST geckoOS and run the rebooter, and it should run any games you have (although you still probebly can't use codes)

i have no Modcip.. i would never do that and its not a back-up game its just a normal copy i bought from a shop ive had no problems untill the past 2-3 versions ago ¬_¬

still did you try the rebooter? It basically is a geckoos feature that boots back to the wii menu if you have trouble launching games the normal way, you should try it

Normal games are ok, its just my imported games..

and ive tried it before it doesn't work.

Hi Mr Ryan,

Gecko OS treats own region and imports the same if booting via the Press A method. Have you checked the compatibility list of the Game your trying to Boot?

have you run any software like starfall or anything to change your region?

The game im mainly trying to boot is Brawl.. ive had no problems in the past and i haven't changed my Region.

I'm pretty sure that the Gecko OS channel was made illegaly, and its not official.
I would advise getting standalone gecko os.
