When I plug in my usb gecko, the video displayed on my tv gets swarmyish, but when I unplug the usb cable, or take out the usb gecko it becomes clear. It isn't a real issue, but it's annoying for the video to look like it has some sort of scanlines or something on it (it's kinda hard to describe). I was wondering if anyone knows on how to fix this slight annoyance. I have component cables on a ntsc wii, on a hd ntsc tv.

Try connecting the gecko to you wii and computer and then turn on your tv.

Didn't help, my tv doesn't really do any auto-adjust things.

Get a newer version of Gecko OS, or atleast the color fix version.

I have the newest version of gecko OS, and I just noticed, the colors are kinda off, it's like the wii output is having interference or something, but it only does it when the usb gecko is connected to the pc.

Hmmmm...maybe try it without extra HD cables?

okay, i went to my standard def cables, and there is still "scan lines", but they are MUCH harder to see.

Edit: Oops, had it in normal ratio (different video channel on tv), when i set it to wide screen the scan lines were just as visible as on progressive scan cables.

Aww, I don't know then...
you have it in Memory card slot B right? And installed the drivers and everything?
Maybe you should leave it out when not using Gecko OS?

I have those lines to when I connect my Wii to DVD recorder, but that has nothing to do with the Gecko :P

In Slot B, have newest pc drivers for it installed (just got the usb gecko today :P), and Gecko OS doesn't cause the problem, it has these weird lines and off colors(just a bit, graidiants aren't smooth anymore) only when i have the usb gecko plugged into the wii with the usb cord connected to the pc(it's normal not connected to the pc via the usb cord).
