can somebody help me ,please ?

maybe it s a problem settings on gecko OS 106f

Panda On Smack

have you tried going to the hook type in the config menu and changing it Wii Pad?

I have the same problem with an EA Sports game - FIFA 2008. The game is NTSC-US and I try to run it on an EUR console - the console hangs in the "put on your wiijacket" screen...
I tried to change the hook type - no effect.

Does the problem still exists with geckoos 1.07 ?

jollyca

Yes it does. I've just tested it - load gecko, enable region free, boot, go to disc channel, disc is recognized, start, black screen for 1 sec and the console hangs and the tv goes into "no signal" mode. Same thing with Medal Of Honor Heroes 2, see my other thread about it.
Is there any other configuration I should try ?

kenobi

And without rebooter ? Starting the game by pressing A on the geckoos menu ?

jollyca

Same result. I first tried it with geckoos 1.6f from the menu. Should I "force" something ?

kenobi

Well try all the geckoos settings...
Change the langage to english, try force ntsc...
Also make sure all codes are disabled, and use geckoos 1.07 only.

Btw did these games ever worked correctly (with or without geckoos/ocarina) ?

Here's the story:
Those games were brought to my from the States a few days ago - 4 DVDs: MoHH2, Fifa 2008, OrderUp ! and Dance Dance Revolution (or smth). Both OrderUp and the dance stuff ran perfectly from the first time (GeckoOs 1.6f). They also work like a charm on 1.7, nothing forced, no codes.
MoHH2 and Fifa never ran. They both "crash" the console when I try to run them (regardless whether I use 1.6f or 1.7).

Later edit: I also thought there may be smth wrong with the DVDs themselves but that would be too much of a bad luck :)
