I was never able to get any EXP cheats no matter how hard i tried with this game. The closest i came to getting an enormous amount of EXP was with the 'Always 65535 Combo during Battle Victory screen' which will have you up to level 100 before you know it.

Miscellaneous

These are the EXP cheats i managed to hack from this game, trouble with them is that they are only displayed on the Battle Victory screen so your character's will never benefit from them unfortunately. While it looks really cool to have enormous amounts of EXP displayed, i personally found the tease factor with these codes irritating cause in reality, i would like to have my cake and eat it too! Maybe one day i will get around to them, anyway i put them up for those who might like to look at large numbers, enjoy!

A lot of those codes already exist for AR GCN. But, if you went and found the addresses yourself; I suppose that's alright.

A tip for Infinite Gald: set it so that you have 88,888,888 Gald. Then, you have unlimited Gald and can still open those chests with Gald in them.

Also, what region are these from? (NTSC, PAL?)

Hi Hawkeye2777

There are AR GCN codes for this game out there but none of the PAL ones actually work, i have tried to convert them with GCNcrypt by Parasyte and AR to WiiRD by James0x57 but i get nothing from them. Also, PAL codes for this game is something of a rarity for some reason :cry.

As with my previous Fire Emblem - Path of Radiance codes, proper credits will be given Smiley if i can convert and get the codes working from AR GCN codes.

Thanks for your advice on unlimited Gald, i have re-edited the code :clap, if you know of any other codes i might have missed out on please let me know so i don't pull another no sleep until 4 in the morning shocked

That's odd; did you remove the verifier line? They should work ok. No biggie though. I was just asking. Smiley

I haven't really worked with TOS yet, so I'm not too familar with the coding. However, if you need help with those EXP or Combo codes, try finding a code for NTSC that is similar. Then, you can see how the code was made, and make your code that way. If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask. I'll try and help you out. I'm still learning how to do a few extra things on Gamecube myself. Wink

Thanks Hawkeye2777, it is good to know i have your support with this game, it is a pain in the ass really how i cannot get the EXP code in anyway possible regardless of methods i use. Even pointer search failed on me, then again pointer search only ever had 1 code to try to find which i don't think is how it is meant to work.

I did remove the verifier line but the codes i got off the net (other than NTSC) did not have a region to them so i got excited and started converting only to be disappointed :cry

This one looks to be even longer than my Fire Emblem - Path of Radiance thread :cry

There is codes for the PAL version that works, but only for the German & French versions of Tales of Symphonia.

Heres the link to the codes :
http://board.gscentral.org/showthread.php?t=9002

(Thanks GSCentral). Now you have to convert them to Wiird / Ocarina (or decrypt them if you prefer).

By the way, what's the game's ID for the Code Manager and Gecko OS ?

Iraden

 Tales of Symphonia (GQSEAF) PAL

The game ID would be GQSEAF and this is an English PAL version hence my statement of how rare it is to come across respective GC AR codes, I would have much rather convert codes than stay up until 4 AM searching them out to be honest. Also, with most games regardless of whether it is PAL or NTSC, a different language can and most of the time will mean different codes.

I am not aware of any other ID or Code Managers that are required for Gecko OS. If you are referring to Master Code, neither USB Gecko nor Ocarina require one.

If you are using Ocarina, i am very sure it won't work with the Ocarina program by itself if that is what you are trying to do. The old Ocarina stand alone does not support GC mode but you do have an option now.

As far as i know, there is a new Ocarina that is bundled with Gecko OS so try downloading that from the downloads section:

http://www.usbgecko.com/files/geckoOS16f.zip

Oh! One last thing - you did realize this is a Gamecube game right? It just popped to my mind that DS AR also requires Master Code.

Hopefully (my fingers are crossed for you) you are playing the same version with the same language as me cause come tomorrow i will be doing a HUGE update on this game that i hope will help people out there :irule:

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask Smiley

Well, the problem when converting the PAL (French / German version) codes for Wiird, I don't have the same result as you. There's three pal Tales of Symphonia and EACH have it's own codes (argh !).

There's UK, Italian and a "double" pack for French & German (same discs).

LMAO :lol

Understand why i put in all that effort now? By the way you didn't tell me if my codes work for you yet or you have a totally different version.

I haven't got much time now but when i get back from work i will be updating with all the items codes i found and trust me, when i say a HUGE update - i literally mean HUGE my eyes are still sore from last night and seeing that many hex.

This post was part 2/2 of the Infinite ALL codes that i ran out of room for and had to start a new post. Disregard this post and follow the post above this one.

I have left this as a reserve post on purpose  in case i run out of room again like i did yesterday.

It's a shame all the codes are not in a continuous manner, i never thought there was a 10000 words maximum limit placed on every post. Ah well, i guess so long as its here that is all that matters.
