Here is the full Wii Source Code to GeckoOS. I hope some of you will enjoy and learn from it.

We will be setting up a SVN server for updates, and will use this forum for support.

I hope it will get more developers interested in coding apps for USB Gecko and even Wii.

Development will continue in a more open style form now on.

Please note the code is GPL V2.0, this is because we put months of hard work into it, and would love to see any changes back off it, so we can better the OS side of the software.

Very impressive work.  Honestly though, with the DVD Access Library available, is releasing the source to this really such a good idea?

I would REALLY like to see a linux version of WiiRD and WiiRD gui. I have a nokia n800 linux based tablet, and getting WiiRD on it for console hacking would be so much more convenient than having to deal with the laptop.

Not to mention it would help all the OSX users out there, in some way.

Well, I cleared up my WiiRd source code of commercial components I used (and yes, I may use them) so I can go open-source pretty soon too! However, the GUI is heavily based on Windows a recompilation won't be too easy!

I'm guessing like extra Homebrew applications, but really I have no clue.

The source code is what Nuke and co have written which gets compiled to make the program we all get to use. Its nothing extra but shows you how it all works if you are into programming etc.
