Codes are by goemon_guy.

Yes, I used Dolphin to record this. I don't have the tools to record off my (brother's) Wii.
First, let me say that I do own the original game.
Second, not every who uses Dolphin pirates. If you're going to say that, you can say the same about Homebrew. Both had no intentions of piracy, but it turned out that way. Homebrew was intended for homebrew applications. Dolphin was for those who wanted play HD in there games.

You beat me to making a video to showcase this code :P

Try fighting 3 Abyssions on Mania, too. XD I'm willing to bet it's impossible w/o cheating to win.

EDIT:

Dolphin's usage for piracy is implied. (It's an emulator. Do you think people who use SNES emulators, etc. dump their own games?)
Most Dolphin users just download their games, hence why no one here will generally help you with Dolphin. And didn't they only recently make
HD gameplay their "Selling Point" ?

Most people who use Homebrew download their games too. I've give you that a lot of people will use dolphin or other emulators for piracy, just as people use the internet for piracy. It's a consequence of making emulators. It's a consequence of the internet. Also, that was there selling point to get people interested in their program.

Fighting 3 Abyssions would be harder if there was no spell queue.  But only one of them can cast a spell at a time.

If people want to use Dolphin, that's their prerogative.  However, the forum has a rule.  We only support retail disc loading.  Dolphin can't do that unless you have one of those special drives, so by default the vast majority of Dolphin users will be playing backups, so we don't support Dolphin.

Homebrew wasn't designed for piracy.  It's an unwanted side-effect.  Gecko OS can't play backups, but if you wanted to play games region-free or with cheats you can use Gecko OS.

Oh, and by the way, I'm insulted by the "most people who use homebrew download their games."  Who made you spokesperson for homebrew users?  I don't download games, and you can't play downloads with Gecko OS anyway (or Riivolution).

Try fighting 8 Abyssions XD... I'm gonna post a video of that later/sometime.

8 Abyssions on Mania - Kills you in about 5 seconds, unless you Falcon's Crest the crap outta them. (Even then, they managed to kill me. XD)

I've said this before, but no pirate with basic math skills would use Dolphin.  A computer that can run Dolphin at full speeds costs way more than a Wii and a USB hard drive -- by a factor of roughly 10.  Pirates by definition want the cheapest possible way to do things.  Yes, there are probably a few pirates who either don't understand this, or who already had a Dolphin-capable PC that they didn't pay for, or who are okay with playing games at 30-50% speed... but that's not many people.  Most people who use Dolphin are using it not for free games, but for the higher-resolution graphics.  That's perfectly fine.

Obviously discussion on how to rip games for use with Dolphin is off-topic in this forum.  But that shouldn't mean that it's bad to even discuss using codes with Dolphin, which has nothing whatsoever to do with copying games.

My PC barely costs at much as the PS3 at launch. No one spends 2,500 dollars just for one emulator that still has problems. Anyone who spends that much will play other games, like Battlefield 3, Crysis 1, Call of Duty series, Metro 2033. You know, high end games.
Also, NeoGamma.

Putting piracy aside, emulators can work great in creating codes. You can view the game's VRAM, disassemblies, memory, etc. You can even dump the memory. Why with cheat engine, I was able to make a code people had trouble porting on the PS2. If you want to see it, it's called "Tales of The Abyss Mystic Arte Hack" It's the the video before the Abyssion fight.

Try about $1000 or so; doesn't cost that much to build a good gaming computer (which would be able to run Dolphin decently well plus be able to do tons of other stuff well too). Obviously, the best gaming computer would be more. And yeah, it is dumb to spend money just for an emulator; I doubt people would do it just for that. On my laptop (i7 2.0GHz, 1.5GB VRAM), Dolphin runs extremely well. It runs better on Windows than Linux, but that's purely an OpenGL vs DirectX9 issue. It's nice for me because I can play some of my games while I'm at school where I don't have a TV nor the systems to play these games on (which I ripped myself, did not download). Did I get the laptop I got for that reason? No - I didn't even know that Dolphin could play any games decently at the time.

Anyway, back on-topic, three Abyssions is just crazy. Definitely a fun challenge to try and beat them though. Fighting Abyssion is a challenge even with codes from what I remember (not using inf hp or similar).

there will always be some freaks who can do it. Analying your enemies moves/weakness and hard training will definetely lead to victory.
Games can have endless possibilities in terms of skill. That´s how I e.g. managed to beat Tabuu (final boss on SSBB) with one character, while it´s intended to use 6 of them (5 may die until one has lost). It just took extremly long to achieve this.
I never played Tales of Symphonia, I´m just generally speaking. :P

I'm think I'm going try to see if this is possible in Tales of The Abyss. it would be interesting to see if you can fight 3 Nebilim, whi can have 1.2 million hp on Unkwon mode.
