From what I understand, we're not supposed to talk about Dolphin at all, or at least keep it to a BARE minimum.

But, I'm not 100% sure.

Either way, C2 codes don't work in Dolphin as of now.

v3 of friendship code didn't work for me, also, changed my analog stick's controls a bit, made it weird and i couldn't walk lol. Do i go to the friendship menu and mouse over their portrait and press 1/2? or do i talk to them, then do it?

You have to be in the Friendship Screen, and hover over the person you want to modify, then use the buttons.

Can you explain to me how you looked for the values that represent playing as aden / sonja, goemon?
Or specifically I know that

28629EF2 00006008 is the button activator
CC000000 00000000 is obviously the switch
and E0000000 80008000 is the clearer
0603B8E4 00000008 is for writing the next 8 byte ( iirc )

But I am sorta lost here

I can't make sense of it via the documentation sadly

Basically, it just patches two ASM addresses.

There are two issues with Dolphin.

1) Dolphin doesn't play retail discs unless you get a very special DVD drive.

2) Dolphin only supports a few Gecko code types.

Ignoring the gigantic piracy issue associated with extremely limited retail disc support, the other big issue is that hackers shouldn't have to write the same code twice.  Instead of asking the hackers here to write some of their long codes twice - wasting valuable time that could be used making new codes - you should go to the Dolphin forum and request that they fully support all Gecko code types.  They only have to add support for the Gecko code types once, and then no one will have to request Dolphin-ized codes ever again.  It's just easier for everyone involved.

Who says I don't own the game? I can play the game on my wii just fine but after growing attached to HD and direct memory access for easy value manipulation, who would want to? What for did I spent all that money on hardware and an extra drive? To just go and do as I'm told because you suspect me a pirate?

In general, WiiRd forums just don't support the emulator. Period. If a hacker wants to make their codes Dolphin compatible, they can. If not, well the Wii is your only choice, unless you want to port it yourself, or possibly contact the hacker to ask them to do it.
(Or contact Dolphin's creators and demand that they update the code handler.)

You shouldn't oppose a moderator's wishes. It will almost never turn out well, and will likely result in a ban/warning type punishment.

While you may have paid for the game, most people here don't even know too much about Dolphin to even help you at all... (Assuming.)

Whether you want to use Dolphin for code usage, is entirely up to you, but most people here will not offer any support.
(I personally don't care, but Mods have to do their job, so...)

I solved my problem anyway. Also I didn't mean that the mods should just allow dolphin requests everywhere. If the hacker himself is not bothered by it it should be up to them though. I never said anything else. I personally don't care for dolphin codes. I only needed help with that one specific code and turns out it was solved in the end.
