I'm not going to continue making codes compatible with Dolphin.

I agree, that its developpers should be updating their software. (Implementing a newer code handler.)

You have two options:

1. Complain to the Dolphin team.
2. Use Gecko OS + a Wii.

I do agree that it is kind of a hassle to have to make two versions of a code, just so that piracy-users (not pointing fingers at anyone in particular.) can use them.

Do whatever you have to do.

To use any Gecko code that is not used continuously while playing temporarily in dolphin:
Download dolphin revision 3.0-161
Download gecko codes into 3.0-161
Play game with 3.0-161
Use code ( like friendship code and what not. ) in 3.0-161

the problem with 3.0-161 is that it constantly clears the code cache so games are mostly unplayable but codes do work.
After you used the codes to do what you wanted ( and this is why codes like inf HP / RP only set max HP / RP but can't be used during normal play ) save your game manually ( not savestate )
transfer your wii folder in ./user/wii to a stable version ( like 3.0-178 )
play. Codes don't work in 3.0-178 so whenever you want to change something, you have to switch to  3.0-161

Example of this: load game in 161, use friendship modifier, save game, transfer to 178, play as normal[/spoiler]

First off, i like to say that i am in no way shape or form a hacker so i wont pretend to be. i hope to one day learn and be  good as all you guys.


@goemon_guy i dont know what this actually did but using x4, i changed 1FA[4]0004 to 1FA[1]0004
accidentally fixed the friendship code by changing a number to 1. did i know what i was doing? nope not a clue. is it now working? yes. i take no credit for anything im just excited to have hopefully helped.

when you give a gift it will max the friendship bar on that person But will NOT put the person or any of the others at 0 friendship

EDIT: ive tested this over and over myself and works perfectly with no negative side effects. im not past the part when you can raise friendship past 6 yet so anyone who is, test and feedback is appreciated

Only works on the people in the town. i just tried it on my monsters and nothing happened

If anyone else could test that Friendship multiplier, (I`ll check it later.) and it works for everyone, I`ll add it to the master list, with a note saying you helped fix the code, Tenebrae.

Also i did notice one thing, if you use it on someone that friendship is at lvl 6 to fill the bar(at the point of the game when 6 is the highest you can go) the next person you talk to will trigger their event for the next friendship level even if the bar isnt full. This isn't really a problem but i just thought id point that out as a note to the people who use this

Edit: alright, i was wrong about the lvl 6 thing. i noticed that after you give one person a gift and it raised their bar. ANYONE you talk to after that it will fully raise there bar once and basically give them 1 fp if you accept the event. so its as if this code gives 1 fp to everyone off of 1 gift  (if you talk to them after giving a gift to someone/everyone), good news is it wont raise everyones fp bars 2 times in a row off 1 gift. give another gift however and it will raise (who ever you talk to) fp once more. if you dont want that to happen theres 2 solutions i can think of.

1. use the code on the person you want to then disable the code
2. if we get a activator put on this code we can turn it off during the game after we use it on who we want

I've been using this code for a while and it seems to work just fine, only give a gift to someone and it fill the bar, so you can see the cutscene to rise the FP to the next level
