Hi ;D

I would like to keep my wii safe from bricking so do I need to install preloader to do that?
If so how would I do it?

Thanks! ;D

If you're able to install BootMii as boot2, that will be more effective at preventing bricks than Priiloader.  Also I've never heard of anyone bricking a Wii with BootMii, while Priiloader seems to have some risk.

Hi ;D

Which of the PAL 4.3 Hacks should I use?

Thanks!  ;D

Just curious, but have you tried to install BootMii as boot2?  As stated above, if you can install it as boot2, then it would, for the most part, make your Wii unbrickable.  You can download the HackMii Installer, which includes BootMii, from the link below...

http://www.bootmii.org/download/

The HackMii Installer will tell you if you can only install BootMii as an IOS, or if you can install it as boot2 as well.

I'm not familiar with Priiloader, so I can't help you there.

Just so we are clear, you need to be able to install BootMii as boot2 to have maximum brick protection.  Newer Wii consoles do not allow you to install to boot2, however.  Installing BootMii as an IOS offers very little brick protection.

With regard to your TV losing its signal when you start BootMii, you may want to check Wiibrew or the BootMii site to see if they have any answers to that problem.

Bootmii might be configured for a different signal. Bootmii configuration or manual text edit should fix that
