Hi,
I've successfully installed the Homebrew Channel, Homebrew Browser, Gecko OS, and WiiMC. My intentions are to use cheat codes so I can hack solo zombies in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

I added this .txt file to the /codes/ directory at the root of my SD card:

SC7E52
Call of Duty: Black Ops

Infinite Ammo Host Only [Sorzad12]
04A9E917 5E700000
04A9E90F 5E700000

Zombies Rapid Fire Host+NonHost [Seth@WiiPlaza]
28200F40 F3FF0C00
043A18E8 60000000
E0000000 80008000
ive had alot of people complain about this code so i added a activator to it!
*while in a game hold the A and B buttons to activate
*have lulz

*Hold DpadUP then press Home to teleport to the Samantha's Room.

Zombie Teleport-High Platform Alley (solo): [strakn]

E0000000 80008000
*Hold DpadLeft + Minus to teleport to this Platform.

I used the app WiiMC to activate all the codes and export them to a .gct file in the /codes/ directory. I assume that Gecko OS automatically runs .gct files in that directory, correct? After I generate the file, I close WiiMC and go to Gecko OS, and boot the game.(CoD) I've tried all the button combos the file says, and they all fail to activate the cheats. I've tried solo zombies, online zombies as host, as non-host, and it hasn't worked yet. Am I doing anything wrong?

I'm running wii system menu 4.3, and I've never hacked the system until this morning.

Thanks.

I'm not familiar with WiiMC, but everything seems to be okay.  Are you sure that it generated a GCT file, and that it is in the 'codes' folder?  Have you tried running it with fewer codes on?  Also, are you sure that the codes are for the correct region?

Treyarch issues a lot of patches for CoD which tend to break the codes.  That's probably your issue.

I would try a different game that doesn't get patched and see if codes for that game work before concluding it's the fault of Gecko OS.

I'll try some cheats in CoD: WaW and see if they work. Then we'll know if it's a matter of patching or not. I'll report back here with my results.

Thanks so far for the help.
