Wow that sounds like a personal problem with the config of your comp. you computer must be old or has to much p*** on it. im running a 2002 Windows XP sp2 and USB Gecko SE runs great with no problem what so ever.

Romaap

That happened to me once, when I shorted one of my USB inputs...

as wierd as this sounds Romaap you play BO on wii,  ::)

That does sound weird... Interesting. My computer has gone to the bluescreen of death a couple time when my Wii has frozen while I was using USB gecko. It's not the first time so I'm cool with it.

But back to your case.

It may be just your computer. It could also be a combination of things, like maybe its the usb port you are using. Try uninstalling, and reinstalling the driver again. If it's not that vary your setting. For example things to change, If gecko os is loaded yet or not, if wiird GUI is loaded or not, which USB port it is plugged into.
If none of that helps, I do not know what to tell you. Maybe it's just your USB gecko.

I have never seen that happen, and I've done a lot of harsh things to the USB Gecko while writing code for Gecko.NET.  I would be very worried if my PC blue screened instead of just crashing the application.  To cause a blue screen would require a hardware failure or some unhandled error in the USB driver.  Both are pretty bad news.

I was and still am very worried. There are just a couple reasons I'm trying to let it slip. One, it is most likely not the USB gecko causing it, as I have had it show up before for other reasons (I don't know what those specific reasons are). And two, I really don't have money to fix my little laptop. I will just have to not worry much at this time... Thanks for your concern though  :-[

Sounds like it is more than likely a USB issue.
I have had trouble with one of my laptops. only works on one port.
Also one of my desk tops if I plug it in the front it works half the time, but plug it in the back works always.
you could always try another cable as well.
and one of my Wii's needs to be rebooted sometimes before it connects.
Hope this helps

This are all things that have worked for me in the past xcoopa. I hope these work for everybody having problems.

Have you resolved your issue yet? If not, then when it does it again could you could post the actual error message that it gives you on the blue screen? We may be able to narrow it down that way. If you have to you could jot it down on paper and post it back here once you get the error again.

Dns... The error is different most of the time. When it happens I will post it. It has to be just a hardware issue. I can't install a program, and my google chrome doesn't work anymore, due to some hardware issue. I need to run chkdsk but it doesn't let me D:

Ok I see that you said you're using windows, but which version? Also, does this happen when plugging ANY device into the USB port? Do you have another port you can try? If you can provide these details along with the error msg in that next post then I possible could help a little more.

It happens at random times. I use Windows XP. I don't think anything else would work with my tiny netbook  : O0
