i think a good code would be for you to get a bounce jump off a enemy just by holding the button rather than timing it.

also a code to always have diddy since you cant play as him in single player

u can test this out ..

I just tested the timer freeze, and it didn't work.   :(

k when i get home i will check this .. i only used offset porting since i did not have access to my wii at the time .. :P

the funny thing was when i hacked the code the first time it did the same thing reset me back to the wiiMenu >>
but when i did a recheck it was working i had it working for the full first world untested on world 2 .. i have another way of doin it as well that i will post .. maybe it will fix your issue ..

Is there any possibility to have a code to play as Diddy in single mode? it is a real shame that rare has deleted one of the most awesome features in dkc :(

Well there is no way if your just using Gecko OS .. the only way to tell is if the codes dont work .. I guess we could Set it to Print the number to the amount of Coins u have or something ..
then u would just see if u have a 1 for coins .. and if u do then u know what your version is lol :P

I completely agree with you and I also would like a code to play Diddy Kong in Single Player.

All these codes are awesome, all it needs is the B button to do the waggling while the nunchuk is in and its complete imo.

Thank you soo much for your work so far. You made the game for alot of us worthwile...i represent a group of people form gully.com. We are thrilled by your work. But there is one last major request we have to ask from your genius: Could you write a code that removes waggle from Nunchuk & Wiimote? That would be the perfect controls...im not an expert on the subject so i ask you if you think its possible...we can only show our support finacially (only if you're not offened by it). We would love to here from you and will praise your name till eternity if you could make this work for us...

yes i want to get rid of the shaking in a retro game: i think total button controls fit the game better...
and on gully: my bad; you are right "mygully" is a warez site; but im actually from gulli.com: a german hacking forum that does not support or condone piracy

apparently you're way better with coding than me; could you do the same cheat for the version 1 of the Cheats? Version 2 doesn't work for me...would love it...

Hi guys.

as you might know I added classic controller support to DKCR.

It currently works via asm and is not using any geckoos codes but I thought maybe you can make some with my help, so the masses can enjoy playing it with the CC!

First of all two patches which allow the CC to be connected:

0x80389B90 = 0x38A00000;
0x8038710C = 0x28000009;

The tricky part is the button remapping, I've done this via hooking a function and then just used asm to do it.
Here are the important offsets:


0x805CBCE8 Holds the wiimote button status
0x805CBD48 Holds the CC button status
0x805CBE6E Set this to 0x12D or so to trigger the shake effect

(Player 2 should be at 0x805CBCE8 + 0x180)

I have never done anything with gecko codes so I thought I let the guys who know their way around them handle it.
