for some reason when i try to load the codes the screen goes black and the game wont load.

Plus is there a code for infinite E tickets?

I can confirm also the black screen problem.Is it possible that the codes require some other hooktype?

Black screen is fixed, I had forgotten to use address range checks with the pointers

Unfortunately,the infinite energy code works for the enemies too!!! :'(

It seems it also makes chests unbreakable as well

I am not sure if this actually helps you,but I disabled the infinite energy code and tried only the other two codes.While the game run fine,when I pressed the Home button to exit to the Wii menu,the game suddenly crashed (black screen)...
