Another messed up game do to Online hacking .. Good Job to the ppl that online hack .. this is why there Nintendo, SOny, MS dont like us and your just goin and showing them why there right not have cheat divices .. u know whats better to do .. then release the codes.. Email them to the ppl making the game we did this alot on the PS2 if we found a code worked online mainly by someone telling us or anything like that we email the Company holding the online server with the code and telling them the Bug ..

The least you guys could do is not screw with the leader board so people stop griping about it. It ruins it for people when they look at it and see some ridiculous stat that they can't ever beat legitimately.

Gratz, wifi griefers.

To you, it's just a game.  Haha, you're so cool, you can put your name at the top.  To the company who developed the game, it's a problem.  They'll have meetings, discuss protection mechanisms, and divert money away that would otherwise be used to improve the game with new features.  They will probably have no regard for single or multi player, so we can expect more issues like we saw with the new Metroid; where single-player, offline games are now harder to hack...

This is why we can't have nice things.

That would have been ideal, but I don't think it's happening now.  Even if it did, people would just use an old Gecko OS.  I once considered adding anti-online code to Gecko.NET, but the same basic reasoning about old versions made it just not worth the effort.

Really, what server admins need to do is total ban griefers.  Permanently ban their username, Wii ID, MAC address, ban their IP (this should be temporary).

I love what hetoan2 does, hacks for the thrill of beating the system but respects it enough to not release it to ruin the game for others.


Understandable that sometimes you hack a code and it just happens to work online... but when it's targeted for online, it's best kept as a private accomplishment that you can show off in youtube videos.


Just my opinion though.
