Wow, dude. I'm upset about these codes not working for me cuz I have Ocarina and not USbGecko. But that was cold. It's a video game and a video game system. It shouldnt be someone's life, but for you it obviousley is cuz your making it that kind of big deal. If the codes dont work for you, simply turn them off and dont go hastling somone who works hard doing things for people like you. you should be thanking him for even trying instead of making it sound like it's the end of your world because the codes dont work.

It's pretty funny how I thought of it. It just randomly went to my head with a "what would I find if I were to just check the Black Knight's Level address in the memory viewer?" I decided to do the chapter where Black knight appears to fight the laguz across the river, and then Rivals Collide to see what changed with the Black Knight since the last Chapter..I also kept track of Micaiah during this:

Also, thanks to your huge efforts, I was able to convert all the codes for the PAL version so, yeah, many, many, maaaaaaaany kudos and cookies to you mate. However, I'm still stuck on the problem of finding Janaff's, Ulki's and all the characters appearing after them's EXP adress. Once I have them, though, it'll be easy walk.

Also, by mistake (stupid one at that) I think I've found how to edit a character's weapon level. I'll be sure to get back to you if I do.

Waw, thanks ! Funny to notice I work pretty much the way you do except I don't have my Gecko USB yet (I'll have it in two days). I'm gonna go test those adresses of yours right now and see how it applies to the european version (yeah, there was exceptions in the spaces between same adress types... For example, the item modifier in the NTSC version is 20000BF away from the EXP adress whereas it is 40000BD away from the EXP adress in the PAL version... :S)

Also, I'll get back to that weapon level adress in two days or so, when I'll recieve my very own Gecko USB. Meanwhile, I think I'm gonna test my hand on those stat modifiers you found.

Sorry I'm a major noob when it comes to hacking. It sounds like giberish. What do you mean?

I mean that without proper material (namely USB Gecko), you need a place, into the amount of informations of the game, to start from to find similar informations. If someone found where in the game is located the assimilation of a button to an adress, it would be "quite easy(er)" to find the other adresses...
Say you're looking for cool drink, if you know you can find Sprite in the fridge, there's a 99% chance you'll find Fanta in the fridge as well. Well it's the same here (but slightly more complicated). Is that a bit clear or what ? ^^'. END OF OFF TOPIC.

Also something interesting! If you activate those make characters on your side codes while you're doing a chapter. Let's say you activate Leanne to join your team on Chapter Prologue of Part 3, when you finish the chapter..Leanne will now be part of your team. Also, you can randomly make units like a common Gallia laguz that is part of Skrimir's team be part of your's if you activate codes of characters you haven't met yet in the game. Do this on any chapter and see what kind of results you'll get!

So, If I'm not mistaken, I could load Ocrina with the Black Knight Blue code installed then i could go to say...3-1. When the level is over, Black night is on ike's team?

Well now that I know I can do this with Ocarina, I have an interesting question. Is it possible to get Order (Incarnates) on your team? You know, the ones that protect Ashera. Is it possible to get those and put them around characters to protect them?

And no attack either. I'm not sure it has any sort of interest. But as Shad proved it, it is possible (and should be anyway since, by existing, they have adresses. And if they have adresses, they can be modified ^^)

LOL i used the Ludveck code and got Titania on micaiah's team instead.

I said I would a page or 2 back. My most recent discovery has to be this code that allows you to have the stats of any other character. Example, Mia with the same stats as the Black Knight.

I think he's consciously avoiding you :o or maybe not...
It could have something to do with his stats changing and since he's never fielded as a character (a boss, a trooper, anything) except when he's the black knight, it may very well be for that reason.
Kinda like the NPCs we can see in the first animations when Micaiah heals a random person. In fact, I don't understand how he could have an adress of his own at all... The only way to play Zelgius, as is, to me, would be to find where is his skin's adress and field him with the black knight's stats.
Can THAT be done ?
Since you found a way to separate a character's skin and name and the same character's stats, I guess it is.
