Hey hey! I'm completely new to this whole thing but I'm trying to either find WiiRD codes for F-Zero GX, or get some help in converting AR codes that I've managed to find.

I'm kinda proud of what I've managed so far since I'm not exactly the most tech-savvy person on the planet. Got Gecko OS mod working, found GCNcrypt 1.5 and AR to WiiRD 0.9 and I *think* I've worked out how to use both of them. I've decrypted the AR codes through GCNcrypt (auto identifier box is unchecked) then run them through AR to WiiRD (auto identifier box is checked).

Pretty much all the codes in the final output have one of two errors somewhere, either:

No WiiRD CodeType for GCN AR CodeType- 32bit unsigned greater next line.

or:

No WiiRD CodeType for GCN AR CodeType- Increment.

The latter one is usually in there twice.

So, I guess it's a bit of a double-barreled question. Firstly, am I doing something wrong in converting the codes or are they just nonconvertible? Secondly, assuming the latter is the case, does anyone have any working codes for the game? F-Zero GX's fiendish difficulty mocks me.

Thanks in advance for helping!

can someone please make a wiird code for unlocking the ax-cup?
master difficulty is killing me and i hate not to be able to play the
remaining curses.
thanks in advance!

There is nothing that AR can do which the Gecko code handler can't.  For instance, AR has an increment.  Gecko doesn't have an increment, but you can use Gecko Registers to implement an increment.

What exactly does 32bit unsigned greater next line mean?  Sounds like they mean a 24 code type?

dcx2

Weird, I saw that his request, too.

There is no difference between the code handler for Wii games and the code handler for GC games.  It's the same code handler.  Gecko OS Mod uses an old code handler that doesn't have F2/F4/F6 codes, but it has all the other code types.

EDIT:

it doesn't translate terminators very well...

I can help you shorten some codes, too. ^_^

We can make this one a slider.  EDIT: made it one line shorter with a half-word fill!

You also have some double terminators, but it looks like we can do some cool stuff here too.  What is the 24 and 26 code saying?  "Is the pointer between 80C00000 and 80D00000?"  You can just use the DE code type to check this on your own.

The AR-to-WiiRD converter is probably unoptimized.  It probably did one terminator for each if, thinking they were end-ifs instead of terminators.

BTW, I turned the one slider code into a fill, since it was all F's.

you need a SDcard and 2 Memorycards (1 for save in slot A and 1 for slot B to cheat).

thanks everybody for a quick reply and help for all of us.

but can someone translate for gamecube action reply codes to gecko os mod codes.

Haha, I totally forgot I made this post. Thanks for converting the codes - I'll test them out on my copy of F-Zero GX (PAL) and see if they work!

Notes: This code will enable Stereo 3D in Grand Prix, Story, Time Attack, and Practice modes.  It will also enable Stereo 3D for the highest-numbered player in VS. Battle mode.  Put your 3D TV in field-sequential mode (for 480i) or frame-sequential mode (for 480p).  You may need to fiddle with left/right polarity on your 3D TV, but once you have it correct, it should stay correct until you reboot your Wii or TV (if you're in 480i mode, rebooting your TV won't affect the polarity).  If you don't have a 3D TV, or if your 3D TV doesn't support field-sequential/frame-sequential modes, you can use a KWorld USB S-Video capture card with the Windows program Stereoscopic Player, which will allow you to output to different 3D formats, including red/cyan anaglyph glasses.

Credits: Big thanks to dcx2 and Y.S. for help with the F6 codes.

Hackers: This code should be portable (with some effort) to any 60fps GameCube/Wii game, so if anyone wants to port this code to another GameCube/Wii game, feel free to contact me (biolizard89) at fuzziqersoftware.com forums or wiird.l0nk.org forums.

Caveats: The camera's XYZ coords will lag by 1 frame (this is noticeable if you look carefully, but not annoying).  The separation is currently hardcoded (it looks good to me, but your mileage may vary).  Gecko Registers 0-3 and 5-B are reserved by this code; don't use any other codes which touch those Gecko Registers.  This code should be region-free but was tested only with the USA version.  As this code utilizes the F6 codetype it requires a recent code handler; at the moment this means NeoGamma R9 Beta 50.
