Starfox Adventures/JAP no worky on US Wii

As the title says, I have a regular, domestically purchased USA Wii, and the Japanese import version of Starfox Adventures for GCN.  Tried running SFA with and without the rebooter, each time it just results in a rather vague error message saying I need to power cycle my console.  This Wii was originally jailbroken only about a month ago, so it has fairly new versions of everything.  Was menu v4.1 before installing HBC, safe-upgraded to v4.2 after.  Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help.

Yeah, I was using GeckoOS both with and without the rebooter, neither way worked.  And I was kinda blanking on the right term for doing the whole trucha bug/HBC install dance...I'll blame it on the bottle of rum which accompanied my nerdy experiments tonight. :)

No, try Gecko OS mod, it might have a chance to play that game. Some GC games actually use audio streaming, and Starfox Adventures is one of them. And the way original Gecko OS boots GC games doesn't enable audio streaming correctly, and so you get an error when it tries to play an audio stream.

Long story short, try Gecko OS mod, it should boot the game correctly. On other boot methods you might have a chance by ejecting the disc and reinserting it after launching, but before the error occurs.

Oh, wasn't even aware there was a branch of it.  The mIOS installer's being a bit recalcitrant at the moment but wanted to drop back in briefly to say thanks for the tip.  I'll update here once I've been able to test things out.

Starfox has issues being played because of the weird audio streaming...
