[Request] Luigi's Mansion

I know the code is active but its not working. I have pressed the control pad in all four directions and nothing. I have collected 2 Element Medals Water and Fire. I can't switch between the two of them using the Element Modifier. I think something is wrong with the code. I know it was converted  properly because I checked it out myself. So if someone can fix the code that would be great thanks.

Oh right and this for the USA version of the game.

I can load this in Gecko OS 1.92 and above but cant hook with Wiird of course because it is launched from the homebrew channel. Gecko OS 1.06D for Gamecube Mode only gives 3 Video options and none of them work because I get a black screen with sound (except for the intro with Luigi finding the map and going to the Mansion) and Wiird hooks...is there any way around this? I have tried everything I could think of... Is there a code I can apply with Wiird that will give me video?
