Have any of you heard about these sites selling homebrew for $35? I think before i installed homebrew channel or knew about homebrew, I thought it cost money because i came across these sites. I don't know why they are still trying to sell that crap.

Dark Chaos

You should drop a line over at the hackmii blog and let them know about this.  I'm pretty sure TT owns the Copyright on this software.

Team Twiizers is aware of this.  As a matter of fact, they started to put that "Scam Warning" on their HackMii/Homebrew Channel Installer after those scammers began selling their software.  The scammers then got around that scam screen by having the buyer use a WAD installer to install a WAD of the Homebrew Channel.  Now, installing a Homebrew Channel WAD will give you the scam screen every time you boot the channel up, and possibly flip the Homebrew Channel up-side down.  Since the latest System Menu is now 4.3, I doubt that those scammers really have any effective way to prevent the buyer from seeing the scam screen.  In addition, only Team Twiizers can legally distribute copies of the HackMii Installer, which is stated on the bottom of this page.  You can read more about this by clicking on the following links...

Wii homebrew for sale (Copyright? What’s that?)
SCAM: HomebreWare and Wiiunlocker

This site basically states that both the Homebrew Channel and Twilight Hack are legally available for free, and gives an E-Mail address that you can use to contact Team Twiizers, if you would like to notify them of those sites, or any that are similar...
