Toy Story 3 began with it and now Metroid ::)
If the game resets when you poke anything, how can it know that you are poking with a tool and you could have restored your health for example aswell?? wtf :mad:

If the pointer changes then it was coincidental that it worked. Thats why i dont bother with pointers. You can always create your own by hijacking the ASM to output the register that contains the address and make it output in a blank area.

Thats what i did for the moonjump V1, but it turned out the ASM was used for more than one thing ._.

Where was the address that you set on breakpoint found for moon jump? (the address you poked to confirm the code)

The value itself moves, so its kinda difficult to say. Just use the GLEE search method for Y-speed in the 8100 - 8180 range

PS: don't try any "pointers" in the early area of mem1. All valid pointers I've ever found have been located AFTER the assembly in this game it goes up to 8070 region D:

No, the game crashes, its just I reset over and over until i get the information i want :D

idk if this helps, but in order to have GeckoDotNET not lose the search data you have to do an execute bp on 800018A8 and then do the search for the value... every time or it will lose it. And it will reset every time. Its a pain i know :\

This one seems to work fine for normal monsters, they are not invincible anymore, now i'm gonna try with a boss and see...  ;)

EDIT:

Just tried with the 2nd boss ( the bee's queen ), with the others infinite HP codes she was invincible too and i wasn't able to kill her, but with this one i did it, so in the end it works fine for every monster  :D

Go to the About Box and make sure the BPNext checkbox is checked with 800018A8.  Then, when you press "Pause Game" or "Next Frame", it automatically sets a BP on 800018A8 for you.
