Sorry, but may I have more help?

I want to apologize for being a noob in all and asking for help from everyone but this may sound a little weird but how do you put images on the signature. I think I got the bbc code right like this : *     * that's not actually what I put I put the real url in it.

But on my signature it just has the boxes with a red x in it. Could someone please help me or tell me how to get the images on their right?
