so I have tried out the restriction remover code by Bully. The thing is that it pumped up my HR 117 character to 999. And I don't want this. I just wanted to go on rookie server. Help would be appreciated.
so there's this code Hunter Ranking Modifier [Bully@Wiiplaza] 4A000000 90000000 140E4350 XXXXXXXX 120E4354 0000YYYY E0000000 80008000 *XXXX = Experience in HEX* *YYYY = Level in HEX* *Attention: You will get banned if your ranking is low and your equipment is rare* Does the amount of the exp matter if I only used Bully's restriction remover v1 code? Because I'm not sure if my exp changed and if so, then can I simply set any amount of exp with HR 117 and will the game correct it for itself? My goal is to set my character back to HR 117 http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/MH3:_HR_GuideHope that helps. Also, don't enter the rookie server. The reason I went in rookie at low HR was because I didn't want to be carried through quests in HR equipment. Don't be annoying.

ATTN Stuff: My attempt at being helpful.
I tried making Jhen barrel on a 2nd character on which I hack (offline only), and it gave me chaos wing. Error with your generator? I can't remember which slot, it was slot 678 or something.
4A000000 90000000 140E2F84 0C00000F E0000000 80008000
^That was generated from your site for slot 700.
4A000000 90000000 140E2624 0C000010 E0000000 80008000
^Here's what it should be. 000F = Chaos Wing. 0010 = Jhen Cannon.
Tim the tester to the top!

Oh! I thought I fixed that. >.< Yeah I mixed barrels and frames up. My bad. I was wondering why I couldn't make a dummy barrel. Actually, I had all 3 mixed up. Frames were stocks, barrels were frames, and stocks were barrels. It would've been a greater issue later when I add bowgun modding. It must've been my LUT list. I'll have to fix that later. I probably have names and descriptions wrong for those too. >.<. I renamed the files, so it should be fixed now. lol yup. It was my LUT list: Spoiler for wrong: Bowgun Frames 00 = No Equipment: You don't have anything equipped. 01 = Light Bowgun: This ultra-light Stock features a quick reload speed. A popular choice. 02 = Medium Bowgun: A mid-weight Stock with a lightning-fast reload speed. Simple and easy to use. 03 = Heavy Bowgun: Heavy, but supports a wider variety of ammo types. For more experienced Gunners. 04 = Aquamatic "Needler": An odd Stock that may once have been a full Bowgun Kit. Works well enough in combat. 05 = Royal Launcher: The sponge on the body makes this Stock comfy to hold. Take it on underwater hunts! 06 = Thundacrus: A stable Stock crafted from Lagiacrus materials, which allow for more firepower. 07 = Thundacrus Rex: A slightly tweaked Stock made from only the finest Lagiacrus materials. 08 = Rathling Gun: A Stock made with Rathalos materials (and featuring a dignified design to match). 09 = Rathling Gun+: A more capable Stock that uses Rathalos materials of superior quality. 0A = Blizzard Cannon: A snow-white Stock made of Barioth materials. Much, much lighter than it looks. 0B = Poison Stinger: An unsettling Stock built from unsettling things. It's heavier than it looks. 0C = Tropeco Gun: An exercise in flamboyance? More reliable than it looks, thankfully. 0D = Diablazooka: This Stock uses the tail of Diablos, but is just as powerful as the rest of him. 0E = Agnablaster: Resembles an Agnaktor taking a dip in lava. It's still a bit warm to the touch. 0F = Chaos Wing: A Stock of ill portent, whose owners are said to disappear without warning... 10 = Jhen Cannon: A stately Stock made of Jhen Mohran materials. It is surprisingly light. 11 = Aquamatic "Spark": A Light Bowgun Kit. Parts can't be changed, but it has special qualities. 12 = Aquamatic "Longshot": A Medium Bowgun Kit. Parts can't be changed, but it has special qualities. (Folding) 13 = Vulcannon: A Heavy Bowgun Kit. Parts can't be changed, but it has special qualities. (Folding)
Bowgun Barrels 00 = No Equipment: You don't have anything equipped. 01 = Light Bowgun: A cheap, lightweight, mass- produced Frame. The best choice for novice Gunners. 02 = Medium Bowgun: A cheap, mid-weight, mass- produced Frame. Deviates slightly L/R. (Folding) 03 = Heavy Bowgun: A cheap, heavy, mass- produced Frame. (Folding) 04 = Royal Launcher: The sponge on the body makes this Frame comfy to hold. Take it on underwater hunts! 05 = Jaggid Fire: The mark of an accomplished Jaggi hunter. Your quest for glory has only just begun... 06 = Thundacrus Rex: The Frame you've been waiting for, made from the finest Lagiacrus materials! 07 = Rathling Gun+: A Frame made possible by superior Rathalos materials. Less accuracy, more power. 08 = Blizzard Cannon: A powerful, snow-white Frame made of Barioth materials. Excels at Critical Hits. 09 = Poison Stinger: An unsettling Frame built from unsettling things. It's heavier than it looks. 0A = Devil's Grin: A baleful Frame said to have been crafted in a dark workshop. 0B = Tropeco Gun: An exercise in flamboyance? More reliable than it looks, thankfully. (Folding) 0C = Diablazooka: A majestic Frame with two giant horns, popular among pro Gunners. (Folding) 0D = Agnablaster: A scarlet Frame whose streamlined body makes it a stylish hit. (Folding) 0E = Chaos Wing: The ultimate weapon, complete with dreadful Alatreon wings. (Folding) 0F = Jhen Cannon: A stately Frame made of Jhen Mohran materials. Heavy and tough to use. (Folding) 10 = Dummy: Dummy 11 = Aquamatic "Spark": A Light Bowgun Kit. (Folding)
Bowgun Stocks 00 = No Equipment: You don't have anything equipped. 01 = Light Bowgun: A cheap, lightweight, mass- produced Barrel. Slightly decreases Deviation. 02 = Medium Bowgun: A cheap, mid-weight, mass- produced Barrel. Slightly decreases Deviation. 03 = Heavy Bowgun: A cheap, heavy, mass- produced Barrel. Allows you to block. 04 = Aquamatic "Needler": An odd Barrel that may once have been a full Bowgun Kit. Works well enough in combat. 05 = Royal Launcher: A Barrel capable of rapid- fire Water Shots. Favored by Gunners for its portability. 06 = Jaggid Fire: The mark of an accomplished Jaggi hunter. Your quest for glory has only just begun... 07 = Thundacrus: A stable Barrel crafted from Lagiacrus materials, which allow for more firepower. 08 = Thundacrus Rex: A slightly tweaked Barrel made from only the finest Lagiacrus materials. 09 = Rathling Gun: A Barrel made with Rathalos materials, featuring a dignified design to match. 0A = Rathling Gun+: A more capable Barrel that uses Rathalos materials of superior quality. 0B = Barrozooka: One for the power-hungry: Pretty? No. Well-rounded? Nope. Destructive? HELL yes! 0C = Devil's Grin: A baleful Barrel said to have been crafted in a dark workshop. 0D = Tropeco Gun: An exercise in flamboyance? More reliable than it looks, thankfully. 0E = Diablazooka: A strong Barrel but, much like its namesake, hard to handle. Allows you to block. 0F = Chaos Wing: Alatreon materials make up this wondrous Barrel. The stuff of legends... 10 = Jhen Cannon: A stately Barrel made of Jhen Mohran materials. Heavy and tough to use. (Folding) 14 = Bloodguilty Maw: Opinions differ on the bizarre appearance of this poison-equipped Barrel. I can't believe I never noticed. That's what I made that txt for. Also thanks. I would've never fixed it cuz I thought that was over.

I'm after a weapon modifier to make my weapon say, 5x stronger. Just want to test something on my hack character. Any such code? Also, I know porting codes is meant to be super simple, but I just have no clue even after reading tutorials 10+ times. Has the monster HP code already been ported? I can only find it for NA, and it doesn't start with 4A000000 90000000. http://www.geckocodes.org/index.php?c=RMHE08&page=7So PAL Monster HP display and PAL weapon multiplier. Not together though.

Thanks, I'll try and find the display I'm after. I want the one in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPZW9UiPKwQI'll test doudley's, if not I'll PM AgnaktoreX. I saw a guy using a hack online where he killed Jho in about 20 hits. I hate people using hacks that affect other people online without consent (CQ's are fine if both parties are happy and I find HP display fine, as it doesn't affect other people). I am after this hack, for stronger weapons. I want to test things OFFLINE so it doesn't need to work ONLINE or anything like that. Someone should make a OHKO hack that works perfectly offline, but sends a flag if used online and gets the player banned. That would be epic Anyway, sorry for random rant, just specifying what type of code I was after.

Yeah I think AgnaktoreX is a PAL player, so it's probably that MID.
Add 1000 to attack [Skiller] NTSC-U 042703AC 41800004 042703B0 380003e8
Is this good? I guess I could port it.
I could probably make that ban for code usage happen, but there's already a OHKO code that works. It'll be a long and less attractive code so nobody would use it. And I don't really care about that anyway.

Yes please. However, can asmPort do it? If not, how do I port things? Perhaps it's time to learn.

they look like 2 asm patches. so you find where the asm that is being patched in one region is at in the other region and change the address part of the codes

asmPort should be able to handle it. I'll do it when I get back if it's not done. But also, you could probably just add 0x64 to each address.

There was already a PAL Version of the Code: Add to Attack [Skiller] 04270410 41800004 04270414 3800XXXX
XXXX = 0FA0=4000
And here is a Deactivator of the Code (I dont know who made it)
[C+Z] Normal Attack 2865B89C FFF2000C 04270410 4180000C E0000000 80008000

i think it would be easier to use these codes together [HOME UP] Normal Attack 2865B89C 5FFFA000 04270410 4180000C E0000000 80008000
[HOME RIGHT] Attack+ (2000) 2865B89C 7BFF8400 04270410 41800004 04270414 38002000 E0000000 80008000
same as yours Darkvangis, different is the attack up code, which i think will be easier to use together

Well you would have to use an activator if you want it to turn off. Allso use a switch. It's shorter and less buttons.
[HOME RIGHT] Attack+ (2000)(on/off) 2865B89C 7BFF8400 04270410 41800004 04270414 38002000 CC000000 00000000 04270410 4180000C E0000000 80008000
