I've tested that you're not going banned if you equip "Tenebra"
Anyone has tested out other event weapons?

It depends on the rarity of the item/weapon/armor, tenebra was ok because as you can see from this page, tenebra is rarity 3:

Rarity 3 = all HR
Rarity 4 = HR 31+
Rarity 5 = don't know, 41+?
Rarity 6 = ??
Rarity 7 = i think it's 51+, like the alatreon stuff

Rarity 5 = HR 31+
Rarity 6 = HR 31+

Just confirmed that the name change code does not get you banned online, and does not have any side effects. Enjoy putting things that aren't letters/numbers in your names, lawl  ;D

Mmmm i don't think it applies for everything then, because some time ago when i went online with the sinister saint ( rarity 6 ) and the black leather set ( rarity 3 - 6 ) i was HR 34 and i got banned, if rarity 5 and 6 were really HR31+ then i was ok

maybe because the sinister saint and the black leather set are event items, so for some event items there are obligatory HR?

Well until i'll be HR51+ i'm fine with my ceadeus set and the jehn moran weapon so no more bans :P

i have rarity 5 and 6 stuff (hr36 atm without ban)
but i only forged with items i allready found and just multiplied x30 or something (only safe way)

My guess is, this does not go after rarity, but obtainability of the items used.
