Not sure if this has been answered as nothing has come up in my searches, but how exactly does banning work for using codes with Monster Hunter Tri?  I know if cheats are used to get weapons that aren't available to your HR you get banned when you show your face online.  What if you wanted to duplicated items you have gotten legitimately in-game or you use a code that every time you catch insects you get Thunderbugs?   I was thinking of using a code that lets you carve out any item you specify from kills but I don't want to get banned when I play online.  I'm not interested in jacking up my stats to "pwn noobs"  I just want some extra thunderbugs since the game wont let you breed them :(

Iv done exactly what you have said. Got items then duplicated them using these codes

Sell/Use Item Get 10 [Skiller]
C204BB64 00000004
7C060000 41800010
3800000A B01D0002
48000008 B01D0002
60000000 00000000
Note: Made to only work when Selling Or Using

Buy New Item Get 10 [Skiller]
C204BAF0 00000002
3B20000A B33D0002
60000000 00000000

u can also get items that are a pain to get like "Deep Dragongem" that has a 2% chance to carve  >:( >:( .

If u go to http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/MH3:_Monster_Carves_%26_Rewards u can check what carves u can get off bosses below HR31. Any items under the brown headings can be obtained offline (except Jhen Mohran who im sure you can only get online) The carves under the blue headings are HR31 and above obtainable online.

Item Mod/Have 10 Slot 397 [Skiller]
4A000000 90000000
120E0D24 00000076
120E0D26 0000000A
E0000000 80008000

above is the code for your thunderbugs. Youl find them in your supply box in the village. Just flick thru the pages to the end.

umm for the blacksmith cheat, it doesnt work for bowgun parts. like its gray so i go back out and go back in but still gray. it works for everything else. solution?

Humm does the items change as well as the Amount of Items needed to use ?

QuoteJust another quick question -

Is the Item Roller Code Slot Specific?  Is there a way to change to Slot #800?

Thanks in advance!

Just go to slot 800 and then roll that one ..
the items do change as well as the amount of items. everything is fine except for bowgun parts.

Going through this whole thread in print form, the main thing people seem to be consistently baffled about is the item roller. Talisman mods seem to be a hot issue too, and ever since youSkiller (no avatar, green stars, my mind links you two somehow) released the first bits of equipment modding people have been asking questions. What will/won't get you banned online keeps coming up, too, although a proper list might be questionable regarding the site's rules on wifi hacking. (To people wondering: basically nothing besides crazy HR jumps or using equipment you're not supposed to have, unless other players report you.)

Panda On Smack

If you don't want to get banned online just change your HR to 100 or something

Still dont know why u need it.. but i guess if u did not want to use the 1hp code then the next best thing would be the Display monster HP

RiDeR_Mx

could make these  work with the clasic controller    Enemy has 1 HP (Good For Capture/Cutting Parts off) [Skiller]  and  (Alt) 1 Hit Kills (2=on 1=off) [Skiller]

I just thought of something that would make a ridiculously awesome code...make all ammo usable regardless of bowgun parts equipped :)

I can't seem to find a combination of bowgun parts that gives me Pellet3, Crag3, Clust3, and Slicing...if we had a code to enable all the shots anyway, we'd be able to use whichever bowgun parts we wanted!

If anyone is up to that, I would second this request. I'm done mastering most of the melee weapons. I'm learning how to gun properly next, so a code with the ability to load 10 shots for every type of ammo would really help (but some ammo don't have 10 shots, maybe only 5 then I guess).

Oh and one more thing!

It's a talisman question ... but wait! I know how to use the code and all, but I want to know something REALLY simple.
How do I change the slot in the box it is in? It normally makes in in slot 400, but I want to make a set of 10 talismans (of all different legit combos) all at once and I do not want to do the process 10 times.

Apokolypse

I definately second the bowgun ammo code. Ive been messing around with gunning lately and I found a great combo that lets you use EVERY type of ammo, but mostly at lv2, only a few at 3. If we could have a code to use all ammo at any level, that would be AMAZING.

No offense to the people who use all these crazy cheats to make the game do crazy things... I love this game (almost) as is.. The ONLY cheat I've ever used in any other MH game was HP Display... It is something I wish was added to the game normally but capcom decided to go with the whole "monster shows its weakness when its weak" thing which is cool.. but I'd still like some sort of numeric hp display. I dont NEED it.. I mean I have 60+ hrs in Tri and I have transferred my MHFU save to my PSP-go which has no current cheat systems available but it is something I love having. Gives me some insight without messing with the games difficulty at all... and as I said I love the game as is
