If I knew more than basic assembly I would totally make the HP code but my skill level is low, I've only recently learned how to deal with multi-level pointers.  I mean I could find the HP no problem, but displaying it makes no sense to me lol

I don't know if this has been requested before but could we get a code to make Cha Cha's defense insane or make him unkillable?

Actually, since the topic of charms is upon us, I had a question about them in regards to Capcom's anti-cheat measures. After reading this:

http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/MH3:_Charm_Guide

it seems that the best Handicraft (Sharpness increase) charm that can ever occur naturally is a 0 slot +4 charm. If I were to create, say a 1 slot +10 Dragon Talisman, assuming that I was already at the high-rank volcano quests, would that set off the sensors? Or for that matter, how DOES the sensor react to charms/talismans?

SKiller, so yea the amount and item change, but bowgun parts wont turn white. i can buy everything exceptfor the bowgun parts

As long as the charm RARE- level is attainable to your HR level, it does not matter.  I regularly go online with Handicraft +90, Recoil +90, and a couple others on various other charms, as well as 1 slot in the charms.  I haven't had any issues.  I'm HR 21, and using a Rook talisman (it doesn't matter which type you use; just use a Rook and play it safe.)

Thanks for that information. That's certainly nice to know. I do have but one more question though, and that is in regards of as to HOW one makes a Talisman. I was looking at the WiiGecko code page, and frankly have no idea how to make a charm. I tried earlier today to create a weapon using what I thought was the right code, but all it did was make my game freeze, so I had to copy some of my materials to create one instead. Might you be able to point me in the proper direction of the framework within which one creates a customized charm?

I'm sure this has been asked, but is there a code that I can just put a few items into my item box or pouch. So I want a specific item in my item pouch, lets say Amber Tusks+, and I want them as the first item in my pouch, how would I do that. If it is simple can I have the code for that as well as, LAgiacrus Claw+, Agnaktor Claw+, Agnaktor CLaw, Lagia Sapphire, and Dragonbone Relic? Thanks

I had a ton of trouble too Fynolt, but I finally figured it out by using a code provided from Skandal. Here is an example for the type of talisman I made: A Dragon Talisman with +7 Evasion and +4 Handicraft, one slot:

4A000000 90000000
140E2618 06010006 Leave the 06 in this line as is. The 01 = Number of Slots (1), 06 at the end = Type of Talisman(In this case, 06 is Dragon).
140E261C 110E0000 The 11 is the value of the SECOND skill (+7), and the 0E is the value of FIRST skill (+4).
140E2620 000B003A The 000B and the 003A are the skills I wanted. The 000B is Handicraft, and the 003A is Evasion.
140E2624 00000000 This does nothing.
E0000000 80008000 As does this.

I should also mention that when doing the value of the skills in the third line, you have to have an initial amount of 10 before you designate the value of the skill you want to add. For example, I wanted Handicraft +4. So I would take 10, and then add 4, and then convert that to Hex. So 10 + 4 is 14, and the Hex equivalent to 14 is E. For Evasion +7, I take the initial value of 10 and add 7 to that. 10 + 7 is 17, and 17 in Hex is 11. Hope this helped.

Also, the idea of a Talisman with over the max for any skill intrigues me. If you have a Talisman with, say, +90 attack, will your attack go up even farther than with Attack Up(L)? And if you were to have Evasion +90, would that give you a ton of Evasion frames?

No.  I do it for a couple reasons, depending on the skill.

1) Having it set so high (although 90 really is kinda outrageous) will negate negatives to skills.  the Caedeus armor has -Recoil on it, which REALLY sucks for gunners.  So I use Recoil+90 on a talisman to cancel it out and give me the max +Recoil skill.  I could, in theory, just do the math and figure out the exact number I'd need to be perfect, but...

2) It just looks freaking awesome lol.  Recoil +90 and say Handicraft +90 on a talisman just makes me feel epic.  The skills only require a certain number of points (15, 20, etc) and 90 will max them out for sure.  Again, could do the math on making the numbers exact, but where's the fun in there?  :)

I pointed this out when i made the code and a few pages ago again :P  maybe i should put a note that says add 10 first :P for the ppl that are late on the codes and not reading the forum since its alot of pages now :P

smuttyranks

I think you should make a new topic for tutorials and only let the people who make the codes post on it. This thread is 99 pages now and can be a pain to go through.

Il understand if people are to busy to do it but if there was a tutorial page i think this thread would be under 50 pages lol  :)

100 pages now :|

140E2620 003A0000
140E2624 00000000

hey, thanks for the fast reply, but didnt work

using

4A000000 90000000
140E2618 06020007
140E261C 07/11000000
140E2620 003A0000
140E2624 00000000
E0000000 80008000

will just create a dragon talisman with 2 slots and some crapy decorations in it

any other idea?

maybe when using 2 slots instead of 1 the "003A" has to move one lower so the line above is for the gems? hmm ill try this  ;D

edit : didnt work ..

but

4A000000 90000000
140E2618 06000007
140E261C 11000000
140E2620 003A0000
140E2624 00000000
E0000000 80008000

gives a +7 evade with 0 slots

now i just have to figure out how to get 2 slots in it without to change the damn +7 evade ..

Not sure if this has been answered as nothing has come up in my searches, but how exactly does banning work for using codes with Monster Hunter Tri?  I know if cheats are used to get weapons that aren't available to your HR you get banned when you show your face online.  What if you wanted to duplicated items you have gotten legitimately in-game or you use a code that every time you catch insects you get Thunderbugs?   I was thinking of using a code that lets you carve out any item you specify from kills but I don't want to get banned when I play online.  I'm not interested in jacking up my stats to "pwn noobs"  I just want some extra thunderbugs since the game wont let you breed them :(
