I received an encouraging letter saying that I could explain the codes in more detail.

The top part of that site demonstrates that each button has a condition/value which is identical in all wii games.

Let's start with the most common button. Button A. All buttons are 16 bytes so they write at an (if end) of 16 bytes which is = 28______.  The empty space is the base address first two bits of memory. And then the value of the number comes in where the xxxx will be replaced as.
So Button A = 0800 so the code would look like 28_ba_ 00000800.
Here is a working example.

I've bolded the address that we are talking about.

So as you can see here the end if here is 28 = 16bytes and is the button condition code because if you could watch the registers at the original address (8037D98A) you would see a 0800 pop up whenever I press A as the value. I could write this code as a 32 byte condition with 2037D988 and as you can see I made sure that the last value of the address is appropriately associated with the code... I placed the condition to the beginning of the address (32bytes) instead of the middle (16bytes)...

And now you can see the button pressed A= 0800 because of it's 16 bytes in nature.

Further more...
The first 16 bytes of the address (00000800) allows for inclusion. So instead of this address only looking at the single button pressed it can combine all together and still function as a condition. This is done by taking away the originals button condition (a=0800) and subtracting it from FFFF.

Here's a working example
A= 0800
FFFF - 0800 = F7FF
So now the code will activate with the A button, and with any other combination; A + B still will activate the code even though B (or any other button condition) is pressed at the same time as A.

In the case of the Monster Friendship + Level code I recommend a button combination that will not be pressed often. Something that would need cognitive processing to access it and without inclusion so that ONLY those buttons pressed will work. Something like A+B+up = 0C08, Or Z+C+A = 6800.

It's your life, so make it easy on yourself. Choose something that will keep you smiling.

I'll show you how to do it
1st find the address you think is the right for the pal version at geckocodes.org,
2nd you use a Remote control address code and replace the 80 with the condition 28 (look up button conditions in geckocodes.org[spoiler]one of rune factory's remote code is
8037D98A xxxxxxxx[/spoiler]
then you place the slot address here and replace the 80 with 04 in this case[spoiler]Slot 1 is 80459440 to slot 16 804594C0. An address has 4 parings and so for slot 2 = 80459444, slot 3 = 80459448[/spoiler]

i am no good with hacking i don't know how to convert codes sorry i'm just no good with that i own a ds trainer toolkit but i was never able to learn on it and i don't own usb gecko

I have faith in you. You are fully capable. Please read again what I wrote, and you'll be able to taylor the items you'd like to have with which buttons.  You do not need a usb gecko, just follow my lead.
