i am unsure if this is the right place to put this, but it seems like the right spot.

i was wondering if there was any possible way to load .gct files from a usb flash drive?

usb is my current method of running homebrew untill i figure out where my sd card is.

Yes, if you use a game loader like Configurable usb loader, it checks the sd card in 2 spots first, then it checks the usb connection.

It would need to be in the format:

USB:\cheats\GAMEID.GCT

if you're using configurable usb loader.

I think the only reason you weren't answered sooner is because this is actually the area for people who need help creating codes, not using them.

If you are asking if usb codes can be created with usb games, then the answer is also yes, using a loader like configurable usb loader go into the options and turn ocarina cheats on, attach your usb gecko to the gamecube slot, the usb cord to it, and then to your computer, and start the game with ocarina enabled, it will see the gecko, and then start wiird and happy hacking!

I don't think he's trying to use Cfg USB loader, I think he just wants Gecko OS to read the cheats off of USB.
