Rebooter in Gecko OS not working with GC Import

Hi there!

I seem to have a problem playing my copy of One Piece Grand Battle Rush (Japanese Gamecube Disc) on my US Wii. I used to be able to do it in the early days when Freeloader worked on the Wii. But now nothing.

I load the game through Gecko OS and I can get to the Main Menu, browse the options and the profiles/galleries, but I can't seem to actually start a game as I get the following message 5 seconds after I select any of the game modes:

"An error has occurred. Turn the power off and refer to the Nintendo Gamecube Instruction Booklet for further instructions."

I've tried all sorts of combinations of possible options (Force NTSC, Language, etc) I've tried the ejecting and reinsert the disc trick, no luck there either. And strangely when I try the rebooter to boot region free I get the "Power down your Wii and read the Instruction Book" error.

I would've posted this in the Game Compatibility section, but I figured i'd report the fact that the rebooter wasn't working right either. Sorry if this is the wrong spot.

Since you can start the game and get into the menu I don't think the problem lies with GeckoOS. It seems more like a disk read error.

Have you checked the disk for scratches? Cleaned it? Worst case scenario it could be you Wii laser getting dirty in which case you would have to buy the/a cleaning kit.

Regarding the rebooter issue, what version of GeckoOS are you using? If it's the latest (1.9.3) try an earlier version, if not try that.
