Yes, i have seen the movie. But your calendar should end on A day. I mean, you can't make a calendar for each year because there is no end. You can go to 9999999999 and you're still not clear. So i don't believe this. I have heard too that this was the same story with 2000.

Y2K was a stupid rumor and it sounded like it wouldn't happen.
2012 is a month i hope nothing will happen.although it should end in a day. but which day of what year should the world end? (in my opinion, the world shouldn't end)

Everyone's crazy.  all these rumors of the fucking world ending is getting on my damn nerves  why would anyone come up with such stupid rumors any way without proof. *sighs and groans* what does it matter i wont get an answer or at least a sensible one anyways i think the movie is a spoof of the day after tommorow |

And what would you suppose we do if the astreroid theory was true. how can we prevent something like that from happening. I just won't understand why people want to know if the world will be destroyed or not. i think that we shouldn't worry if the rumors aren't true. |

I'm athiest, and don't believe in the 2012 rumor. But scientist have tracked an asteriods path to hit us in 2036 (or 2042, I don't remember which one).

actually the chance is VERY small... i learned about that this year in school lol. its possible. think back to the dinosaurs. what happened then? look, chap, simple physics. the bigger an object is, the more mass it has. a neuton law: force (of object) = mass(of object) X(times) acceleration(of object). the meteor might have such a strong force that the Sun's gravitational pull may have little to no effect on it, thus allowing possible crash into a nearby planet. I think what you may be referring to is if its possible within our lifetime. Well, I don't think it is in this century nor the next.  |
