USB gecko substitute

instead of getting a USB gecko could you not use the USB ports built in to the wii and use them to connect to a pc

Theoretically that would work. However, it would again have the problem that USB requires a big chunk of running code. And we wanted to keep the Gecko Handler assmall as possible!

its all good now i figured out how to get my hands on one and i will soon be able to get a laptop to get my computer next to my wii
